We were visiting the area and decided to try lunch at The Falls. They were only open until 2pm, but were closing at 1:30. No problem. We went for the Special - Spaghetti, garlic bread, and salad. The lone server was doing an awesome job of being attentive and welcoming for the customers. Kudos to the staff and cook. :-)
When you're out in the North Carolina woods, where do you forage off the land? We just happened upon The Falls Cafe & Grill. It comes up quick when you're on the road so be careful getting in and out of the parking lot: your visibility in either direction is obscured. We arrived 5min before closing but were seated with a smile. We had a simple lunch, hot dog and Philly cheese steak, but it was really good. Our waitress was friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful answering a few questions I had. The ONLY problem is the limited parking. But we were told that would be addressed in the future.
