Applebee's used to be a favorite for us in the 80s and 90s when we lived up north. It was predictable and we always left satisfied. After a horrible

i see why you have the rating you do
It was my birthday. After waiting 40 minutes, the manager advised some of her staff had not come in yet. Our party gave up. There were so many empty tables, which was sad. As we left, I asked the greeter was our name even on the list? He looked & said “no.” I had high hopes to celebrate my birthday & was ready to spend money for a party of 4. My comment to the greeter, “Texas Roadhouse will put you guys out of business when it opens soon.”
