“Had an excellent first experience at Olivero. Food, service and vibe/decor are all top notch.Bartender was very helpful in guiding us through the menu and making recommendations. The level of service was high quality, everything you hope for in a dining experience. Knowledgable staff, courses landing at the perfect moment - all things that require a well oiled front and back of house working in harmony.I loved the decor of the space, which is obviously carefully curated to create a fun open kitchen concept that makes for a unique and exciting dining experience, transporting you out of Wilmington for the evening, to a beach somewhere on the coast of Spain or Italy.Who doesn’t love tapas style starters? The mortadella beignets with hot honey and cheese was our favorite dish of the night! Try these savory beignets and you will not be disappointed! The flavors complement perfectly for a surprising and fresh take on a beignet. We tried the octopus and crab arancini small plates, which were delicious as well. Both beautiful reminders that the ocean is not far away. (Three tapas plates pictured)For main courses, we tried the snap pea pasta and mussel/clam spaghetti. Both of these pasta dishes blew us away! So tasty and highly recommend. Packed with flavor, the freshness of ingredients was apparent and the pasta was perfectly prepared. Was impressed with the drink list overall- great selection of beer, wine, cocktails and N/A options available.Do yourself a favor and make a ressy at Olivero!“

“First things first Salita makes a delicious pizza, they have a lot of really interesting and unique pizza options and fun flavor combinations to try.Their pizzas are cooked in a wood fired oven and that flavor can't be beat. They are located in the middle of the cargo district and you order from their take out window. They do not have an designated seating but there are lots of options of where to sit in the area. The pizza came out pretty quickly considering it is made fresh and took around 15 minutes. The only reason they are not receiving 5 stars from me is the price, it is a little steep. All of the pizzas from my knowledge are about 10" and the prices vary from $18-20 (except for the margarita pizza which is $13) per pizza. Whether or not the price is worth it is up to you, but I certainly think they are worth giving a shot because they are some excellently crafted pizzas.“

“As a former New York and CT resident I haven't found a place worth recommending till now. I initially ordered Stromboli and calzones cuz those are harder to F up. Well, the bolis n zones are so good I haven't ordered a pizza yet bcuz, if I order a pizza, imma eat a pizza. My way of portion control.“

“Let’s start with the Deli , my favorite the Haley. Now I am a retired culinary Particulartarian ***yes I made this word up ; however I have never been displeased with customer service, the loving spirit of staff or with the quality of food. The course meal dining experience is out of this world! My review is based on bringing 12 - 15 of my support group front liners to dinner to let them know how grateful I am and we are blown away each time. Joe , his wife and staff deserve our 5 star rating.“

“Overall our food was good. Did not realize the bolognese was not a tomato based recipe, which is the way I traditionally prepare the dish. It was a little dry as well. Not a dish I would reorder here.“

“Contrary to the abnormal amount of 1 star reviews, my family's experience at Fat Tony's was wonderful. When we walked in, the restaurant was empty. Our friendly waitress, Kendra, along with the one who shadowing her, helped our table. After we ordered our food, it came out within a few minutes. It was piping hot. We go the mozzarella sticks, which were crispy on the outside and hot and gooey on the inside. Our entrees came out shortly after, in big portions. My chicken alfredo was nice and creamy, My father's BLT was full of bacon and came with beautifully crisp fries. The Stromboli was huge, but also very good. Our only trivial issue was that the prices were maybe a little expensive, but the food makes up for that. We will definitely come back when we're in the area.“

“Indulging at this Italian gem in Brunswick Forest was a delight! With indoor and outdoor seating, the ambiance was as diverse as the menu. The staff's friendliness added a warm touch to the entire experience.I took a flavorful journey with the Eggplant Parmesan Hero sandwich – a cheesy delight with perfectly balanced tomato sauce. The toasted bread, lightly buttered, offered a satisfying crunch, making every bite a joy.And the dessert? A slice of heaven in the form of a 3-layer tuxedo cake. The soft and creamy chocolate top, the cheesecake middle layer, and the moist chocolate cake at the bottom created a divine symphony of flavors.Located in Leland, NC, this spot is a culinary oasis. Highly recommended for those seeking a fun and exciting Italian dining adventure!“
