Food was great. Service was a little lack luster as team members were not attentive and didn't seem like they wanted to be there. It was about an hour before closing time though.
We noticed this place as we were passing by and spontaneously decided to give it a try. As a brisket enthusiast, I must say, they exceeded our expectations. The brisket was superb—tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. I also highly recommend their collard greens. While everything was enjoyable, the brisket and greens stole the show for me. Can you say, "OMG!" Where do I start?! The mac-n-cheese was delicious. Seasoned well. The hush puppies had corn inside which made the extra texture, and all blended well. I'm not a hush puppy girl but those.. I would eat all day! The Brunswick stew was good. I would have liked the stew to be more thicker but the flavors came through for me. My family and I will return to try more items next time we're in the area.
