I recently visited Maroon Monkey and was thoroughly impressed with their fall menu! The Pomegranate Punch is a delightful blend of flavors, perfectly capturing the essence of the season with a hibiscus tea! I also loved the Sugar & Spice Shaken Espresso—it's the ideal pick-me-up with just the right amount of sweetness.

What truly made my experience memorable were the amazing workers, Liz and Georgia. Their friendly demeanor and genuine enthusiasm made me feel right at home. If you’re looking for a cozy spot to enjoy delicious seasonal drinks, Maroon Monkey is the place to be! Highly recommend!“

“Absolutely the most incredible experience we have ever had somewhere! Our amazing experience started with sending an email with some questions about the show we were coming to see (Jordan Jensen) as we live in Myrtle Beach, only about 1.5 hours each way, but it was our first time coming to the club. We received one of the kindest and most welcoming and informative emails we have ever received from a business when asking questions. Aimee was the person that responded to us and she was so so kind! We actually got to meet her before the show as she was working the ticket booth. From the person that welcomed us at the door, to Amiee at the ticket booth, to the kind person that showed us our seats/table right up at the stage (that we had so hoped for) to ALL the people working at the bar that were all so extremely kind and more than happy to help us with drinks, we had an absolutely amazing time and experience! We actually enjoyed ourselves so much that we already purchased tickets for another up coming show in July (Maddy Smith)!! Now we check out their events calendar every week!!! We absolutely know that we will not stop with just the two shows, as this is now our absolute favorite place for comedy greats! We absolutely had an amazing evening and can’t say enough amazing things about the club, bar, and EVERYONE that works there and is a part of the amazing experience! “Could not be more thankful to Makenzie and the entire team at FTB! I hosted a charity fundraiser here on April 12th and because of Makenzie, it was completely seamless. Planning alongside her eased any stress I had before the big day. She was communicative, kind, and a breath of fresh air! We were able to raise $1k in donations for Operation Pretty Things and A Safe Place because FlyTrap was kind enough to donate the space free of charge. Makenzie and the bartenders working even showed their support by purchasing raffle tickets with the proceeds going to both organizations. I can’t say enough positive things about this place! “We stopped here twice in one day because it was that good. The banana ball was so good and my daughter LOVED their beignets. Their frappe was the best she has ever had. The dirty hippie was my favorite drink. We had to grab one of their donuts as literally just staring at them is mouth watering. “We made reservations at the Little Dipper to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We were immediately seated and there was a card on the table that said Happy Birthday! My daughter loved it! We opted to do 2 small bowls of different cheeses- the Tuscany Sun-dried Tomato and the Cheddar Ale. Both were delicious! We were thrilled that they were able to accommodate my daughter's garlic allergy and leave that out of both cheeses. We then followed that with 2 small chocolate bowls- the Black and Tan and a plain Dark Chocolate- with the classic dippers. I joked with our server about needing a to go cup for the left over chocolate so I could drink it with a straw and she brought us take out bowls! Overall we felt well taken care of, enjoyed incredible fondue, and left feeling happy.“

“We had our annual Wandetlust Wilmington 2.0 Super Bowl party at Eagles Dare 2-9-25. Joe Apkarian the owner and his team were beyond superb for us all. We had a catered event there for almost 100 members of the group. The place was ready to rock and roll when we started to arrive. Joe was very accommodating in our set up of the room. The three bartenders Shelby, Gillian, and AJ were spot on with great customer service, attentive, and made wonderful drinks!! (They were so good I gave each one a personal tip and tipped again on my bill) Joe’s selection of the caterer was beyond expectation. Delivery was on time as well as the second refresh. He used Dough House Pizza Company” downtown. All the attendees could not stop praising the food. The place just made 100 new customers. Atmosphere is pretty relaxed and attracted all kinds of clientele. The staff is always ready to accommodate for accessibility! Huge plus as there is an I/DD social club that meets here!

“This is the best coffee in Wilmington, coming from an avid coffee drinker.. They use Counter Culture coffee beans and always make it strong! Friendly, quick service and they offer a drive-thru. I have already tried almost every coffee shop in town and this one is still my favorite.“

“I can’t rate Palate on “Food” because they do not have or serve food. It’s a bottle shop with a beer and wine bar. The staff is a fantastic small group of friendly bartenders who really know their wines and beers well and are great at suggestions. The wines are all natural and organic, which I personally love.

Kid-friendliness: It’s very family friendly. There are two patio spaces and an ice cream shop (Boombalattis) next door. Also a great spot for those with dogs as they’re super pet friendly.“

“My daughter had her wedding ceremony here in November 2023. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that everyone was well taken care of and every need was met. The wedding coordinator was incredible and even offered to shuttle us to and from our Airbnb. She went above and beyond to make sure the experience was stress-free and magical, I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you for a perfect day.“
