“We stopped here twice in one day because it was that good. The banana ball was so good and my daughter LOVED their beignets. Their frappe was the best she has ever had. The dirty hippie was my favorite drink. We had to grab one of their donuts as literally just staring at them is mouth watering. “Flytrap is a great spot! We stopped through on our way to Oak Island and we needed a place with an outdoor space for our dogs and baby to move around. The beer was really good and the beer garden was lovely. Definitely dog and baby friendly.

I also left my glasses in the bathroom when I was changing out of my travel clothes and Karissa went through the trouble of mailing them back to us in Baltimore! I could not be more grateful. It will absolutely become an annual pit stop for us during our trips to NC! Thanks, Flytrap!“

“We made reservations at the Little Dipper to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We were immediately seated and there was a card on the table that said Happy Birthday! My daughter loved it! We opted to do 2 small bowls of different cheeses- the Tuscany Sun-dried Tomato and the Cheddar Ale. Both were delicious! We were thrilled that they were able to accommodate my daughter's garlic allergy and leave that out of both cheeses. We then followed that with 2 small chocolate bowls- the Black and Tan and a plain Dark Chocolate- with the classic dippers. I joked with our server about needing a to go cup for the left over chocolate so I could drink it with a straw and she brought us take out bowls! Overall we felt well taken care of, enjoyed incredible fondue, and left feeling happy.“

“We had our annual Wandetlust Wilmington 2.0 Super Bowl party at Eagles Dare 2-9-25. Joe Apkarian the owner and his team were beyond superb for us all. We had a catered event there for almost 100 members of the group. The place was ready to rock and roll when we started to arrive. Joe was very accommodating in our set up of the room. The three bartenders Shelby, Gillian, and AJ were spot on with great customer service, attentive, and made wonderful drinks!! (They were so good I gave each one a personal tip and tipped again on my bill) Joe’s selection of the caterer was beyond expectation. Delivery was on time as well as the second refresh. He used Dough House Pizza Company” downtown. All the attendees could not stop praising the food. The place just made 100 new customers.
