Steak tough even after ordering to be cooked medium. Is it cut again the grain, which will make it tender. Or is it not a good grade of been. BUT it is flavorful just tough.
Me and my husband have been coming to this restaurant for years. When i was pregnant with my now 3 month old it was ALL i craved. We drive almost an hour to come to this restaurant were we moved. But it is BEYOUND worth it. From the amazing food at modest prices to the amazing staff. We always feel welcomed an just part of a beautiful community ❤️
The food at Shoto is amazing. The service is amazing and if you’re lucky enough to get upstairs for a cocktail you’ll certainly be delighted. My favorite style is “summer” but you should try them all!
Shoto Japanese Steakhouse & Seafood offers fantastic food and wonderful service, with generous portions that allow for leftovers. The waitstaff is polite and attentive, and the music is enjoyable. Diners appreciate the variety of choices on the menu, including great Japanese stir fries and customizable options. However, some have noted inconsistent quality, with varying meat portions and a little too much teriyaki sauce. The steak can be a bit tough at times, and the fried rice may not appeal to everyone. There is a dedicated vegetarian section, and Tofu is available as a protein choice, while the staff is knowledgeable about gluten sensitivities and dietary restrictions. Customers have praised the delicious chicken dishes, such as the General Tso's and Bourbon-glazed options, as well as the sweet and perfectly cooked carrots that come with the rice. The Apple Blossom dessert with ice cream is also a popular way to end the meal. Despite some decor suggestions and a lack of wheelchair access, Shoto remains a popular choice for a great hibachi experience, with budget-friendly prices and attentive service, even on busy nights.
