Village Grill Reviews
My sister & I ate there today for the very 1st time. I ordered fried chicken & it was AWESOME!! Sundays appear to be busy so you want to get there before the church crowd.
The service was the worst that I have ever experienced. We had to get our own refills and never saw a server( or one that was willing to check on us) except to take our order and give us our bill. The food was cold when we finally received it and you could tell it had been sitting for a long time. Extremely disappointed in our experience here. Our service was excellent! Our food was subpar at best and was lukewarm when it arrived. The carpet in the dining room is filthy with grease from the kitchen and needs to be cleaned badly. The bathroom was also unkept and dirty. We had heard good things about this place and we were extremely disappointed. We will not be back.

Village Grill is a restaurant that offers delicious food and a nice atmosphere. The wait staff are friendly, attentive, and provide great service. They can accommodate parties and have a kids menu available. The new owners have contributed to making it a top restaurant in Uptown Lexington. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and has a clean bathroom. It's a great place to take kids and the AC keeps it cool on hot days. A meal for five people, including a cheesesteak sub, chicken souvlaki, fish, hotdogs, and chicken tenders, costs around $72. Customers praise the food, especially the fried chicken and waffles, and note that the restaurant is very clean and friendly. Many mention that it's a good spot for breakfast, supper, or just a quick bite, with delicious cake to go and a cozy atmosphere. It tends to get busy on Sundays, so arriving early is recommended.
