“Love Scoops!Parking: It's a little tight on the main road, but the owner has created plenty of parking off the road.Kid-friendliness: Lots of things to see. Interesting metal art pieces and walking paths. This is a great place to visit, especially when you're traveling. Get out, have some ice cream and take a break, take a walk through the woods. There's a dog park and everything.”

“I've always had good food and great service at Saddle Mountain Cafe! This is my "go to" restaurant for burgers in Alleghany County. They have a great breakfast and did I mention good burgers? Their taco salad is very good too. Always friendly service and the food comes out of the kitchen promptly.”

“A convenient place in Pipers Gap road. They offer most convenience store items and made to order food reasonably priced. This is the only store around this area for quite a while so if you need a drink or some food or the various other things this is your last chance for many miles heading towards Lambsburg MTN.”

“The owner & operator was at the counter as we entered and was not only prompt and polite, but also courteous, patient and pleasantly aired. He shared the shops story as they worked through economically challenging times and kept the shop afloat.The shop itself was immaculately together (in both seating and cleanliness) with plenty of variable seating offered. The coffee was perfect to our taste! No food was tasted.Parking: The vehicle was parked at around 11 am on a Monday, with no trouble pulling right in.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space but may disturb the tranquility of the somewhat religious ambience.Wheelchair accessibility: In the downtown district. “Amazing food and people. I love a little dinner. The great prices are definitely worth it. They even gave me a free tea while I waited. The workers were so sweet and kept up a conversation with me while I wait even making sure there was nothing else I needed while I waited. Can't wait until I go again. 9/10”

“I would suggest these wonderful people for all of your sweet baked goods. They did the wedding cake for my wife and I; and it turned out spectacular. We have them make the cakes for all of our birthdays and showers. They prepared cupcakes for our daughters housewarming shower for tomorrow. They were ready when I arrived, and the little lady inside was so friendly.”

“We love this restaurant! Friendly, clean, everyone is super friendly and the food is absolutely amazing! Karen, Priscilla and Jim are super accommodating. Everything on the menu is delicious! We had a California Roll and Pork Dumplings for an appetizer, followed by Moo Goo Gai Pan, Shrimp Egg Foo Young and Fried Donuts for dessert! Prices are very fair. Food is always cooked well and portions are good! They also have cocktails and beer. I highly recommend you give them a visit!!”

I brought along 3 kids and they were just as welcome as my wife and I.The catfish was great, and the fried steak was so soft and tender I didn't need a knife.The sides really shined, as the pintos were perfect and the collards you could damn near write home about.The whole experience was so nice, that we made it a point to stop by again on the way back.I think it deserves a mention that in this day and age, I fed a family of 5 here for less then $60 bucks. We didn't go cheap either, we had fun with the menu.If you're in the area, and looking for a sit down meal that leaves you with a smile, then please give this place a try.”

“I got the 6" meatball on Italian herb & cheese bread with nothing else on it, toasted. I always get this sandwich, it's my go-to choice. This was the best one I've ever had that I can remember. The sauce and meatballs where fresh, the bread was fluffy and well seasoned and it was toasted just right.”
