“Perfectly cozy stop for lunch with possibly the BEST chicken tenders and fried okra I’ve ever had (and I’m from Alabama). Both perfectly seasoned, served hot, just enough crunch and tenders were juicy and delicious. ? Mac n Cheese was also creamy deliciousness!“
“This place is hands down one of the best restaurants! The food is always excellent. I used to work here over 10 years ago, and to be able to honestly recommend anything on the menu, knowing people will leave happy was just the best! The decor is very eclectic and you can tell the owners have fun with it.The scallops are my absolute favorite, and the mussels never disappoint. My husband loves the lamb shank! And for dessert, the baklava ice cream cake is a must! Highly recommend!“
“We live here in Weaverville. We love to dine out and visit many good restaurants in the greater Asheville area. We are quite proud of our local fine dining restaurant, Glass Onion, here in our small town. The front of the house is very well run. The staff are all professional - just the right level of attentiveness, but also natural and personal. Teenagers are great in some settings, but here, you appreciate their absence. Not only the chef but the wait staff have real experience in this business. They have a sense of flavors when providing cocktails, wine, and food. Many have worked there for years. The martinis are the best in Asheville, and the food is wonderful whether you order seafood, steak, or pasta. Lovely people, lovely provisions.“
“Don't miss this place while in Weaverville. First off, it's small, has beautiful artwork on the walls and very clean. The service is very good with friendly staff. I had the Bistro Burger and Fries, my wife had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with grilled Zucchini. Both of them were cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The burger is huge, see photo. In my years of looking for the best of the best burgers, this was it.“
“Our first time eating here. Very nice dine in experience. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. Also have the option to dine outdoors. Food is very good and there's a wide selection. From sandwiches to pasta and pizza. Very reasonable prices. Range from $10-$20. There was three of us and it was around $54.00. I thought this to be a great deal .. Most definitely a place I would go to again and would recommend to anyone.“
“Everything was perfect as usual , except the fried okra. It had alot of hard stick like places in it. Couldn't chew it or swallow it. It was like eating tree bark shavings. But like I said everything else was 5 stars as usual. One of our favorite places to eat.“
“On a cold, rainy afternoon working in the area, I stopped by the Wagon Wheel for some good country cooking. The staff provided service with a smile. The coffee was hot and fresh. I think they made a pot just for me. The burger and tater tots were very good. The Wagon Wheel offers home cooked meals at very reasonable prices.“
“Nice place. I usually hear that Hot Springs only had one Restaurant and it wasn't this one. Eclectic decor inside but there's an outside deck overlooking a stream that runs through town. The menu is deeper than most taverns. Good sandwiches. Great selection of mostly local beers with a good mix of styles. Nice friendly people.“
“Absolutely love this place!Food is delicious, high quality, and clearly made with care. The staff are super friendly. Very prompt, professional, and always make you feel at home. The dining room and bathrooms are always spotless. 10/10.I do think it's interesting that despite all the delicious and zesty flavors found in their menu, the opener has the blandest taste in music. Blasting the Lumineers and Edward Sharpe at 8am is the musical version of steamed, unseasoned broccoli.“
“This was the best breakfast I've had in years! Waffle was light and fluffy until I coated it with butter and syrup, bacon was perfect, grits, toast and fiesta omelette just worked well together to be tasty, filling, and a party in my mouth. Our waitress was on point and friendly, quick with the menu suggestions and coffee ?“
“This was hands down one of the best dinners I’ve ever eaten. As a chef myself I really appreciated the plating skills and speed. The Chilean sea bass was perfect along with the bed of risotto it was on. I loved the fried oysters as well and for anyone who enjoys cider beers the one they have is really tasty. Overall it was one of the best experiences eating out I’ve had. The service was incredible and this place is definitely a hidden little gem that I recommend to anyone.“
