“Such a fun unique restaurant in Matthews, North Carolina. It’s located in downtown Matthews on one of the side streets. Previouslyonly offered small plates, but they changed the menu recently. They do have a nice selection of different types of foods. If you’re a vegetarian, there’s always options to not include the protein. We went a couple weeks ago with friends. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and food. Great place to go with friends or a date night.“

“Visited Matthews, NC few days ago and had lunch here. The food was awesome (I had Jalapeno Poppers and Peter Piper burger), and so was the beer selection (I had a really good blonde ale (cannot recall the name unfortunately)). Service was great, and washrooms were clean. The place has a really cool vibe to it, looks like one would feel at home there while watching sports on one of the many screens.“

“On Friday 8/23, we came to The Crunkleton on a recommendation for my daughter’s birthday and we were NOT disappointed! From the moment we walked in the atmosphere and the staff were wonderful! We had Cole as our server and regardless of how busy it was that night, he made us feel like we were his only priority. He was very knowledgeable about your massive spirit selections and I mean massive! The food was fantastic and cooked to perfection. We got the Really Good Burger and let me tell you, we said medium and it was on point! It was very well seasoned which is rare when you go out to restaurants. Then to top off the night, my daughter got the beignets with the cold brew icing, WOW! I am a sweets person and these with that icing just WOW! Cole even put a candle on the rim of the dish because it was her birthday! So, you have our business any time we are in Charlotte! I just can’t say enough about our experience!!! You have a great place, amazing food, a wonderful spirits collection, and definitely not last or least a fantastic server in Cole!! Thank you for making my daughter’ s birthday and my first time in Charlotte such a great memory!!!“

“I reserved the upper bar for my birthday party and this was the perfect place for my event! The staff before, during and after were very attentive to my needs. They answered my questions, accommodated my special requests, and were available when needed. My guests gave me the same feedback for that evening. That is exactly what one wants to be able to relax and enjoy during a special event. The price was reasonable. The food was great especially the turkey meatballs, Cuban sliders, ahi tuna, crab cakes, and Mac and cheese. Overall the food and drinks were tasty. We brought in a DJ and had space to dance. “My son, his GF and I had brunch here this past Saturday and it was beyond delightful! The food and the service were absolutely perfect, and the weather for sitting on the patio couldn't have been better. Our server (Samantha?) was spot on, sweet, and very helpful. We ordered the blintzes, Eggs Benedict with cheddar jalapeño grits, Turkish Eggs, and breakfast tacos with home fries and we split everything. We were all in food paradise for the next hour or so. I have never considered myself to be a blintzes person, but each bite was like a pillow of heavenly sweetness. When we got the check we were all shocked that it was only $65, as we all thought it would be over $100. I can't recommend this place more highly and I will return as often as I can!“

“Elsewhere is a fantastic spot in Charlotte! I had one of the best espresso martinis I’ve ever tasted, and they even had some of my favorite beers. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier, and the outdoor atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax. The owner has a magnetic, welcoming presence—always smiling, quick with a joke, and genuinely interested in making everyone feel at home. He moves through the space like part host, part storyteller, which made the whole visit feel extra special. Can’t wait to come back!“

“Let me tell you about the best server ever.
I lost my phone in Charlotte and and Uber driver that didn’t speak English found it walking down the road. Since he only spoke Spanish I went to the bar and Nohemi not only talked to him she negotiated the return of my phone. NOT ONLY THAT. She came out side in the 22 degree weather to help me translate with the guy!
If you come here ask for her, take care of her ,
