“It was pretty crowded when we went in today about 10:00am, but we were seated immediately.For our meal, we both ordered the same thing: Egg skillet with scrambled eggs and we shared a side of bacon. It was delicious, food was nice and hot and prepared fresh for us.Our server was super sweet and all the staff had smiles on their faces which is an absolute pleasure to see.The restaurant was really clean and bright and open. We will definitely be back.“

“The food here was delicious and a very diverse menu. My bf and I stumbled upon this place by chance. We were trying to decide between this place and another. So glad we chose this one. I had the 4 side vegetable plate and he had the fried white fish. When I say everything was great, I mean everything. We had no complaints and will definitely be back soon. “The fish and shrimp plate is so good. I got it with onion rings and potato salad.Delicious.I went back yesterday 3/23/24 and opted for the grilled chicken chef salad. But so many ppl in line ordered the Hamburger steak with gravy and onions, that's what I'm gonna get next time.The carrot cake is delicious as well.This is a cozy family owned charlotte institution that serves good old home cooking!!!!“
“We have been here a number of times and have never been disappointed. The food is constantly good and so is the service. We brought visitors from out of town and they loved it. We usually do a number of tapas plates and then a main course. There is a nice selection of deserts as well. We recommend Miro and am sure you will enjoy it too.“
“The food, the service, the atmosphere were all great. It's like walking back in time... and that's a good thing. No extra hustle and bustle just a good diner. The vegetable soup was so good- warmed me up immediately. I had an odd taste for beets that day. The meatball sub was perfection flavor and amount. My server was a kind young man from Greece and I appreciated his personable manners. The space had plenty of seating and lots of regulars. I look forward to returning as I too was made to feel at home in this homely restaurant. Again great food. Great service. And the food came out fast!!!!“
