“Tried Botiwalla today and the food was delicious! I had the chicken tikka wrap and my husband had the lamb burgers. Both were delicious. We also got the mango pickle and the dry garlic chutney. The dry garlic chutney was exceptional.“

“Delicious food. My wife and I dinned here for the first time and we are highly impressed with the taste of the food here. We ordered Tandoori Chicken, Chole and Paneer curry. Every item tasted authentic. Just one note of caution - their food is Spicey. So pay attention when ordering the spice level. We ordered spice level 8 which was a little too spicy even for an Indian palate. Having said that - food has very authentic taste.“

“Today we visited this restaurant and enjoyed nice food. Prices are reasonable too. People who insist only vegetarian food can enjoy here because it’s purely vegetarian. Their coconut chutney and sambhar are delicious. The lady Olga’s customer service is very nice. This was our third time visiting this restaurant and the food was as good as it was at the first time which means their quality is great!“

“I stumbled upon Exotica at an India Food Festival in Charleston, SC. I’ve been on an Indian Food kick so I had to go see what this festival had to offer. Exotica had an impressive spread of food that was well displayed esthetically and from a food quality and safely standpoint. I’m a kitchen manager and caterer so that stands out and matters to me. They had the longest of a lot of long lines which told me it should be good. I was right. It was top notch. They far exceeded my expectations for the event. I didn’t know what most of the menu was so I looked everything up while I waited and made a list on my hand. My favorites of what I chose were the Samosa Chat, Onion Samosa and the Madurai Malli Dosa. Everything was amazing though. Sooo many flavors!! I’ll definitely be going to their restaurant the next time I’m near Charlotte. 10000% Now that I look at the full menu I see so much more that I need to try. Definitely a happy little accident finding this gem. 20/10 recommend :)“

“This is my first time eating Indian cuisine and it was absolutely delicious! The seasonings and spices accentuate the food without overpowering the flavor of the well prepared seafood, lamb and vegetables. I look forward to dining at Blue Taj again soon!“

“First time trying Ruchi. Got there early so we were able to spend time talking to the staff, who were all very friendly. We tried Indian take out staples this time (Tikka Masala and Korma) but had a really cool Indian Salad and the Gobi 65 was perfect. Will definitely go back and excited to try some authentic Hyderabadi items next time!“

“Dropped in here today to make a to-go plate from the buffet since I was short on time. This was around 12pm on a Wednesday- the buffet was well stocked and the staff were actively monitoring. Everything I chose had great flavor- chana masala, chicken tikka masala, chicken biryani. My only constructive feedback would be to have some of the naans wrapped in foil to-go (so that they keep warm😀). Great option for the uptown lunch crowd, especially on a cold or rainy day as it is located in the Overstreet Mall (near Chick-fil-A).“

“We ate at Aroma again last night. All the way home, I kept commenting how great our dinner was. If you want flavor, try these. The Onion Pakoda is fun to share. We love the green sauce with it. The Hariyali Kabob is intensely flavorful, juicy, and incredibly tender. The Vijayawada Boneless Chicken Biryani provides delicious heat and is portioned for hefty appetites like mine. My sister has had the bone-in biryani and said it was the best tasting chicken she’s ever had. The Indo-Chinese Street Style Fried Rice is like nothing I’ve had before. So many great flavors and textures . Very adventurous for fried rice. The service is always friendly and attentive. There are loads of gluten-free choices! Enjoy!“

“Naanzza!!! At first I was uncertain about the texture and taste of the naanzza but turned out be good combination. Basically it’s a cheese naan with toppings. I have tried the chicken tikka pizza and tandoori chicken pizza which were relevant to the Indian palate. The heat from the jalapeños, the crunchiness from the onions, refreshing tomatoes and cilantro, and the tikka sauce generously smothered over the pizza worked out perfectly. Paneer makhani pizza was reasonable but could not stand with chicken pizza in terms of flavor.“

“I ordered on Doordash on a busy Saturday night, right at closing time, during a crazy night with a Panthers game going on. I was preparing myself for a mediocre experience as all these factors usually mean disappointment. Doordash said I had 5 mins to place my order...and boy was i surprised. Not only was my order hot and fresh. It was sooooooooo delicious and unique. By unique, I mean the chefs take on very common indian dishes was superbly made. Samosas were soooo crunchy yet flaky. Inside was soft and flavorful. Even down to the chutney. My Chicken Korma was straight from a nawabs palace. I picked all ten fingers and my plate. I will be back multiple times a week! And recommend to all my friends. Good job! After a long day at work I couldn't ask for anything more. Best Indian food in Charlotte! Sorry curry gate!“

“We had visited few months ago, they made food according to our request and taste. Specially my wife can only eat Mild Spicy Food.
In our Diwali and New Year, to celebrate yesterday we ordered via website. Once again they made all food according to our request and taste. We enjoyed it at our home with family.
We will be visiting this establishment more often.“

“Yeah Mon! If you are looking for the real deal mon, then this is the thing! Jamaican food at its best. Tonight was my first visit to Fidels Kitchen and I was impressed with how tasty, spicy, and authentic it all was. Admittedly, I am not from Jamaica, but I am from Florida which has some great Jamaican food too. I had been hankering for some red snapper and I had a Groupon for this place plus I had to head near their side of town anyway. I ordered the Red Snapper Escovitch with the rice&peas and the mac and cheese. The snapper was excellent, cooked just right and covered with a clear sauce that was freshly tangy and spicy hot (but not too much) with onions, Irish potato slices, and thin slices of Scotch Bonnet pepper. (Scotch Bonnet peppers are very closely related to habanero peppers.) I also ordered a small portion of curry goat. The last time I had curry goat Jamaican style this darn good was in the Jamaican Town of Flushings, Queens, NYC. That place was known for its curried goat and Fidels matches it! (Is that Blue Mountain Hot Curry?) The rice&peas portion was huge and full of flavor. The mac and cheese was certainly cheesy and not some fake Kraft powder-like cheese. Its top was toasted with just a touch of crispness. Topping it all off were a couple of slices of plantain. Please keep in mind that this location is takeout only! Fidels Kitchen is part of the South Ends Eats which houses seven different restaurants. Customers for all seven doors go thru the same entrance and the lobby is where to pick up or order food. When the food is ready, it is stashed in a locker box and you use your phone app at the kiosk and the locker door pops open. Quite a unique setup. There is no indoor seating, but there is outdoor seating with picnic tables around the side of the building. (Rumor has it that there might be another Fidels Kitchen opening hopefully in the near future in Concord.)“
“Since we did not have luck with the Indian Tikka Grub, we stopped by at Nirvana to grab a Lunch combo.
And we were completely satisfied!
I got their Bindi masala and Veg manchurian balls along with rice.
My friend got their Chicken biriyani with Chicken 555 and Chicken Tikka masala.
We got complimentary roti with the order.
The taste was spot on for my combo and I enjoyed eating it! My friend loved the Chicken tikka more than the 555 and had similar opinions about the food as me.
Would definitely recommend to stop by if you are hungry and want a full-filling quick box to eat a happy meal!“

“The food was absolutely amazing, I was taken away by the use of spices, the Aloo Gobi knocked me out of my seat... I went here for my birthday and it was fantastic! The service is incredible... Our main server was Bree and she was the sweetest person and readily answered our questions about menu items. Restrooms were super duper clean and the whole space had a very nice atmosphere. Thank you Curry Gate for such a wonderful experience.“
