“Saw this place from the street after leaving a deli around the corner . Decided to get some to bring home . Had a bite to sample and was delicious ! Loved that they had a freezer section so could bring those home to sample at another time ! Also saw door dash delivery so after trying all we ordered I’m sure I’ll order more in the future ! “I had a great experience. Justin was very helpful with the menu and even told me about the 99 cents kids meal on Wednesdays. Me and my daughter really enjoyed our food. The quesadilla for her was yummy and my bowl was full of flavor and fulfilling. The location is great to sit outside and enjoy the ambience.“

“I was eating this bowl and it was so good I didn’t want it to end. I always look for authentic restaurants cause that’s where you get the real flavor and freshness and this restaurant hit that on the spot. “Wow Papi Rico has many delicious plates but the standout is without question their tacos trompo al pastor. The pork is perfectly marinated, tender, and carved fresh with just the right balance of smoky and sweet flavors. Each bite is layered with authenticity—from the juicy meat to the subtle char and the bright pop of pineapple that brings it all together.
The tortillas are warm and fresh, the toppings are simple yet flavorful, and everything tastes thoughtfully prepared. On top of that, the service truly elevates the experience—Regina and Natalia were attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcomed.
If you are looking for some of the best al pastor tacos around, Papi Rico absolutely delivers and is well worth the visit.

“most definitely a great place for authentic central American cuisine. the offer dishes different countries but are all super delicious I personally live the lengua tacos or the mixtas I've also had their liver plate which is amazing and their Chile relleno is just amazing. beautiful ladies in front house as much as in the back and just great overall service. and last but not least super economical pricees“

“Eric was the nicest, efficient and helpful waiter during the FIFA WORLD CUP. The appetizer we ordered was fantastic. The staff for the whole restaurant was personable. I will be back soon. “Let me tell you about the best server ever.
I lost my phone in Charlotte and and Uber driver that didn’t speak English found it walking down the road. Since he only spoke Spanish I went to the bar and Nohemi not only talked to him she negotiated the return of my phone. NOT ONLY THAT. She came out side in the 22 degree weather to help me translate with the guy!
If you come here ask for her, take care of her ,

“As it was my first time going, I wasn't sure what to expect. It's a fried chicken establishment much like KFC and Bojangles. The difference is that the chicken is, IMO, better than the competition. Better (lightly) seasoned, and not overly greasy. As a side dish, I tried the plantains which I never had before. Not bad! And I guess that because I never tried them, I was unprepared for the flavor and texture. I, personally would like for them to open a location in Monroe, NC.“
