“I’ve been to just about every Que Onda location around Charlotte, but finally remembered to take photos at the Matthews spot tonight. As a California-born taco lover, I’m almost embarrassed to admit how incredible the tacos are here... because I’ve eaten at just about every hole-in-the-wall from Tijuana and all up and down the East Coast. I know good tacos, and this place absolutely deserves its flowers.
Every single taco was phenomenal, but the steak is out of this world. The flavors are bold, the textures are on point, and the tortillas hold everything together without falling apart, which is a bigger deal than people realize. If you appreciate real tacos and not just “taco-adjacent” food, Que Onda is well worth checking out.“

“I love El Valle. Family owned. Has been in Matthews for many years. My family and I have been eating here for probably 10 years. The service is excellent. They don't have much turnover in staff so they remember us. Now that our son has moved away, they always ask how he is doing. The food is always fresh and excellent. Our order is always correct. The prices are reasonable. My favorites are Chimmichanga, Polo Adobe, Polo Especial, Fajita. I love their salsa.“

“I've eaten here before but this visit in particular I stopped by to relax on the patio outside and just enjoy the scenery. The staff was great, as they frequently came out trying to be inconspicuous to make sure I was a safe person on the property. That's rare these days when we need it most. Food is always phenomenal and fast and the cleanliness is on point. The upkeep of the patio area is also top notch.“
