“First visit here. I had to wait a LONG time to get any food but it was worth the wait! Hot, hot, hot food that was delicious and seemed fresh. Sesame chicken was on point, as were the spring rolls. On the contrary, the service was quite poor. As I said, I waited about 15 minutes and then had to come back into the store for forks and napkins. They were not very friendly.

All in all, the food is worth it but you may get subpar service. Recommended.“

Despite the late hour, we were greeted with a warm smile, and the restaurant was spotless. The waiter was incredibly patient, even when our restless kids bombarded him with questions and had a few spills. His excellent service made our experience truly enjoyable. Now, the food—wow! By far the best Mexican cuisine we've had across North Carolina, and we've tried many places from the Outer Banks to Asheboro, Raleigh, and Greensboro. El Puente stands out as the top choice for delicious, authentic Mexican food. Highly recommend! We definitely will be back!“

“Delicious food! generous portions. Hard to choose from the many selections. I decided on the chicken and gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans. And a biscuit about the size of my head. Topped off with cherry Cobbler. Definitely recommended for delicious comfort food“
