“Java is a little suburban Cafe just around the corner from the Wingate University campus.
A family member attends Wingate and suggested we visit for lunch.
Decor is quite basic but the food is magnificent, the service is fast, and the prices are very reasonable. We understood immediately why Java is a favourite for the kids next door on campus!
In all honesty, Java's subs were simple but so chock full of quality ingredients that we rate as one of the BEST meals we had during our visit for Wingate Class of 2026 graduation.

“Sun Valley Cafe is absolutely amazing! The food, service, and atmosphere are consistently great every time I visit. I’ve had both breakfast and lunch here, and it’s always delicious—never disappoints.
One thing that really stood out was the kindness of the staff. Even though it was after 2pm and they had already stopped serving breakfast, they still went out of their way to make breakfast for us. That level of service is rare and so appreciated.
On another visit, our waitress even brought us complimentary chicken soup, which was such a thoughtful and delicious surprise.
Overall, this place goes above and beyond in every way. Great food, warm service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!

“Came here for breakfast today on Wednesday 11/26, and really felt the need to leave a kind review about the young man who was on the drive thru! He was very welcoming, kind, and overall had an amazing attitude throughout the entire experience. I didn’t catch his name but he had long black curly hair, a beard, and was super smiley! Please give this man the recognition he deserves!“
