“we walked around Morganton looking for a good lunch place. the aroma of the burgers drew us to Uncle Eee's. the place was busy with locals - always a good sign when looking for someplace new. the burgers did not disappoint. we had the Jake (a double party smash burger) it was cooked to perfection and would rival anyone's. the kitchen is out in the open for all to see - the whole staff operated flawlessly. we will be definitely visiting this establishment again and again. just wished we were closer - so we could try their breakfast offerings.“

“Tucked away in the middle of Morganton, North Carolina, right in the middle of downtown, is Pat’s Snack Bar — a local spot that’s been around for nearly 50 years.
It’s a small, no-frills restaurant with a very simple menu. Cash only, sit-down seating, plus a small bar area. Everything is cooked right there on the flat top in front of you, which adds to the experience. Burgers, fries, chicken sandwiches, and liver mush (definitely an acquired taste — proceed with caution on that one).
Overall, it was a great experience. The staff was super friendly, the food was solid, and it’s the kind of place you’d gladly stop at again. Also they have excellent desserts served in the back of the restaurant. The lady preparing these sweet treats has been at Pat's since 2001.
Just note the limited hours — open Monday through Wednesday from 11 AM to 2 PM — but if you catch it when it’s open, it’s well worth the stop.“

But Mike as the manager and Mary as our waitress they made our experience 5 star! I highly recommend this location and would think that these two would give the same excellent attention to all.“

“We were getting our Christmas Tree and stopped in for lunch afterwards my son and I had the open faced Roast Beef sandwich with gravy mashed potatoes and green beans it was fantastic. Very friendly staff and very clean definetly will return for Steak and Fried Chicken soon.“

“The only issue is I had to stand a good 7 to 8 minutes at the counter before I was greeted. They had no way to know that I had already paid for my order through the mobile app. Had they greeted me in a shorter time it would have been a perfect meal! I only say something because this has been an issue on several other orders, causing my food to be cold.“

“First stall we pulled in to, the touchscreen didn't work at all. So you couldn't see their ads, it your order. Moved stalls to the drive thru, and the service was semi-friendly. Good is normal sonic food and seemed to be made fresh when I ordered. Probably not my first choice with everything that's around there to eat, but good ice cream and stuff if you're looking for that sort of thing.“
