“Oh how I wish we lived closer. Best tasting pho broth we've had in the area. SUPER friendly service- they remember you, your order, your usual table! Great vietnamese egg rolls. One of the few things we miss about moving from Morrisville to Wake Forest.“

“Went for the Sunday dim sum cart service. Everything they served they served fresh and delicious! The staff if they noticed something wasn’t hot would go out of their way to make a fresh portion. On the bill, I hadn’t noticed they included gratuity, so I tipped additionally and they actually stopped me to offer me my money back as we left. The people here are great, the food even better, will be back again.“

“Every time we eat here it never misses! Seriously everything is delicious, you can’t go wrong by eating here. The staff has been consistently amazing and super nice. Ashley, our server, was great! If you just look from the outside you might be apprehensive but it’s a really cute spot inside. Give it a try!!!“

“The food was absolutely delicious and nothing was over cooked into chewiness. I am sad about the Japanese white sauce because it was quite runny and bland, but as the saying goes: If you have to put sauce over steak (or food in general) then the food wasn't good. However, that was furthest from the truth and I enjoyed every bite. The atmosphere is great with traditional japanese counter seating. Overall appearance is clean and well maintained.“

“My family and I had our first dining experience at this restaurant last night and we were amazed! There was a wide variety of items on the menu and everything was great! The portions were big, the prices were good, the staff was pleasant and professional, and we even got a visit from the owner at our table. We will definitely be going back.“

“Great place for lunch. Shrimp balls and pork belly buns were excellent; standout dessert for us was the sweet creamy salt egg sesame ball. Service was courteous and prompt, and we appreciated the large glasses for water. We’ll definitely be back!
A handwritten sign on the door says they are only open Friday–Sundays from 11–9.“

“We lived in Thailand for 12 years, since returning stateside just over 2 years ago we have tried several Thai restaurants and have been very let down. The khao soi and som tom were spot on! Amazing, the fried rice was delicious and P Joy even got us some Thai chili's in the lime/fish sauce. Highly recommend Thai Star, everyone was very friendly and kind!“

“We came here because we were in the area, and I remember going to a Red Bowl location many years ago and enjoying the food. We were seated immediately, and our server was Angel. The inside is beautiful with lovely furniture and decor. They have a lunch menu, where you choose an entree served with your choice of egg roll or vegetable spring roll, and steamed rice or fried rice. I ordered the chicken broccoli lunch, and my sister ordered the sesame chicken lunch. We both got egg rolls and steamed white rice. The meals were around $12 a piece, which was not bad for a sit-down meal. The egg rolls were average; it seemed that they were frozen and/or mass-manufactured. They came with a side of what seemed to be sweet and sour sauce, so that helped them a little bit. The chicken and broccoli were excellent. The sauce was a dark, rich, savory sauce that paired very well with the rice. The service was amazing, and Angel was very attentive. Overall, we had a really nice time here and especially enjoyed the lunch menu offerings due to their price point and portion sizes.“
“I had a gift card given to me some 1.5 years ago, and just today made my way to the store! Felt adventurous and was craving some tropical fruits. I was blown away by the variety of exotic fruits, and the extensive choice of fish. The store is, certainly, a cultural experience! My 10-year-old and I each got a smoothie - mango and pear, but I feel curious about many of the other drinks and desserts that I’d love to try. They, also, have cooked/hot food there and will bring my husband next time since he loves Asian food. Can’t wait to go back!“

“I see a lot of people here complaining about this “express” Indian cuisine. Go to Royal India and pay $25 a plate if you want! Meanwhile I’ll be here on my lunch break enjoying Tikka, rice, and a samosa for $7.51 including tax. Get outta here y’all snobs“

“When the family is having a hard time deciding what we want to eat, we all agree on Noodle! Mom can get her Pad Thai with tofu, the boy can get Pesto Cavitappi, my daughter with the Mac n Cheese and me with the Classic Caesar with Chicken. They have those cool "Coke Machines" with 6 thousand options for a drink or you can get an iced tea or chocolate milk. Tons of options, freshly created, served quickly and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. What's not to love about this place?“
