“First time eating here. Need reservations. Very popular. We went for dinner. Our friend from Durham who came with us highly recommended it. We were not disappointed. Our server was Ty M/455 was professional, courteous, and personable. He suggested what was popular on the menu. Great menu with lots of great choices. I had the Sort ribs and the meat fell off easily. My wife had the catfish great size and both delicious. Our friend ordered the trout, it was also yummy. Plenty of on site parking. A little pricey, but "you get what you pay for". Highly recommend“
“Our first experience was a little rocky as we went in on a busy Saturday for brunch with a group of 10, BUT the food and drinks were so awesome we came back the next day as well! Our waitresses were funny and kind, the prices are reasonable and the restaurant itself is adorable. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars is because we had called ahead to get on the waitlist and were told our table would be ready at the time of our arrival, only to wait for another hour before being seated. In spite of that, the staff was nice and we enjoyed our visit overall.Dietary restrictions: They have plenty of vegetarian and vegan options as well as gluten free and heart healthy foods.Kid-friendliness: Our waitress was exceptional with the little one we had with us (age 2). They offer high chairs at the restaurant.“
“Absolutely best everything!! I had oxtails, mac and cheese, and collard greens with a side of cornbread. I can eat the same meal every day for the rest of my life; it’s just that good!! Then add the fantastic customer service to the equation! There’s no better place to go for soul food! Try it! You WILL LOVE IT!“
“I came here with my husband and we were really impressed by the food and the atmosphere! It's been a while since my visit, but I was honestly shocked that I hadn't had the chance to review it. We got the smoked brisket plate, the jambalaya, and the gumbo. I think the brisket plate was out favorite item, but the jambalaya was a close second!! We are excited to come back soon.“
“Pam's Farmhouse is the same as the first time I tried it several years ago: excellent !! I had the one pancake meal with country ham, and a small bowl of grits with redeye gravy. Their friendly wait staff and bus persons were kind and professional as is their norm.“
“I typically go at least once a week to experience "acai bliss"! They even let me create my own "Aggie Bowl", with my own selection of ingredients.Cierra, Zaria and staff are excellent, and Anissa (the owner) is the best!I would definitely recommend stopping by for a sit-down, or take out!Wheelchair accessibility: Saw a man roll in as I'm typing this review“
“Absolutely loved my first experience at the Chicken Hut! From walking in, to ordering, and to eating was nothing but a great time. I was warmly greeted by the staff as they told me the meats and sides they had available. I went with their fried chicken and I was told it would be about ten minutes, but I did not mind waiting. For my sides I got their greens and Mac and cheese. Their plates also include either a roll or hushpuppies; so I went with the hushpuppies. And I am so glad that I did!The hushpuppies were the major highlight of my plate. They were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. With the hot sauce added it made them pop even more. I quickly ate most of them before my meal was over. The fried chicken was also amazing. It was not overly salty or seasoned and had an amazing crunch. It comes out pipping hot, so I had to take my time with each bite, but it was so worth it.The greens were light and seasoned well. I like that they were not super soft and had a great texture and depth. I could literally just eat their greens and hushpuppies and be so happy! The only side that I thought could use some love was their Mac and cheese. I thought it could've had more seasoning and cheese. It was a little plain.I love that the Chicken Hut is still here serving great food for 65 years! Their love for the community shows in their stellar customer service, fun atomosphere (the music was a mix of 70s/80s rnb that made me not want to go back to work!), and their warmth! I will be back for more food soon!“
“Page Road Grill in Durham, NC, is a family dining dream! As a dad of two, I was thrilled by their warm, welcoming vibe and outstanding service. The blackened catfish was a hit — perfectly spiced and cooked to perfection, it won over even my picky eaters. This place offers a cozy atmosphere that's just right for family meals. If you're in Durham, don't miss out on this delightful culinary experience. It's a perfect blend of comfort, flavor, and family-friendly fun!“
“I took two of my colleagues to Relish Craft Kitchen & Bourbon last week. It was a phenomenal experience! The food was FANTASTIC! Our orders arrived quickly and the food was hot. Heat arose from our plates as they were placed on the table. Two of us had adult beverages that were made just right. ? The service was great -- attentive but not overbearing. My supervisor recommended this restaurant to me; he raved about it for days! I will definitely return to this restaurant when I visit the area again.Parking: Parking is free.Kid-friendliness: The restaurant has a good kid's menu.“
“Amazing fresh food! Menu looks a bit confusing but I Googled the location and got a complete breakdown.? Dixie Chick sandwich was delicious full of flavor and they use regular mayo, not the sweet stuff!! Turkey Club had thick pieces of turkey but only one skinny piece of bacon and the end slice of tomato? overall still tasted awesome. Potato soup was delicious as was the Mac and cheese. Both of my entrees included an unexpected fancy sugar cookie. I love when restaurants go above and beyond! This location is a MUST TRY!!!? ?❤️“
“Tried the new location at lunch with coworkers. The interior is really well decorated. The service was really good. The food is always really good and this new location kept up the trend from the original one in downtown durham. Full bar with draft and bottle selections of beer.“
“Food was amazing, I had the salmon salad that had an asian twist to it and my husband had the westminster burger. We were both in heaven. Service was great and really friendly staff. Good beer and cocktails. Will recommend to stop by when in the Apex downtown area.“
“I enjoyed dinner here with my grandparents after my Grampy told me how delicious the Chicken Tenders were. I love fried chicken and I was not expecting them to be the best ever! Those chicken tenders were perfect. The breading was wonderfully light and shortly after it melted in your mouth the incredibly juicy chicken followed suit! The service was wonderful! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for some real good chicken tenders!“
“40+ years of Dallas chicken and biscuit goodness in Apex. Food is literally perfect comfort. Biscuits and gravy 10/10, chicken filet / biscuit 10/10, scrambled eggs and potatoes 10/10, self serve coffee from real coffee pots 10/10.And there's a drive thru! For kids there is a horse in the back that you can move and sit your toddler on at your table and eat on top of because it has a tray near the horse's head. Awesome.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids there!“
“We had a great time and the food was delicious, but parking was a little bit difficult and service was a little slow. However, we did go at a busy brunch hour and had toddlers with us, so I'm sure things seemed slower than they actually were. Overall, we greatly enjoyed scratch kitchen!“
“Four of my close friends had a nice evening here. Ambience was amazing, cocktails and mocktails were superb with so much variety and everything we tried we loved it and all the appetizers we ordered were great. Highly recommend this place for adults to hang out…“
“When I heard they were opening a location in Waverly Place I was really looking forward to trying their biscuits - and I was not disappointed when I did! I had the Nashville Hot Chicken biscuit, the biscuit was nice and tender, as was the chicken. The Nashville hot sauce had a nice level of heat with a really good flavor. My first introduction to Nashville Hot chicken was at Hattie-B in Nashville and the Rise version is best I've had outside of Nashville. My wife had the Guacamole Smash and was thoroughly pleased as well. I ordered the night before as I knew I was going to be going by their location about the time they opened and I wanted it ready to go. Their app worked well, and I received a text as I was pulling into the shopping center that my order was ready. Can't beat that! I look forward to working my way through their menu as time goes on. Give it a try yourself, I think you'll be as pleased as I.“
“This place has been my favorite BBQ place for years. We always take friends and family from out of town. The staff is always great and until recently with the menu changes the food was the best. How does a BBQ place not have a chopped BBQ plate?! Also taking away the Mac and cheese is disappointing. Lastly the burnt ends, it was both exciting and top notch on Wednesdays and Saturdays, the bark was crispy and made them. Now having them everyday in the sauce it’s a totally different flavor. Overall disappointed in the changes, I understand things evolve but don’t lose the quality in the process.“
“I went to Danny's yesterday with my 2 kids because my 7 year old loves their smoked turkey. We ordered and sat down. The lady at the counter said she would bring everything over. She brought our drinks. Then we waited and waited. I hate being "one of those customers" but it was like 30 minutes later, my kids were hungry and fighting. So I went up and asked "hey did you guys forget about us?" It was another lady at the counter by then. She couldn't find our order initially. Looked in the computer and found it. Apologizes profusely as the order didn't make it back to the kitchen. Without me asking for anything she immediately refunds the whole meal in cash and our delicious food was on the table within minutes. I know that this was just a miscommunication error somewhere but I was SO appreciative of the way they handled it. What a Nice bunch of people. And delicious brisket and smoked turkey to boot. We have been coming here for a while and will continue to do so. Love Danny's. The smell when you walk in the door immediately makes you hungry and their food doesn't disappoint. Fair prices as well compared to other BBQ places around (ahem City BBQ could take a leaf out of their book). Thank you so much for your kind service yesterday. Great experience as always. We will be back. Highly recommend!!“
“I ordered the seafood platter that comes with fried catfish, fried oysters, fried shrimp ?, and fries. This dish needs a bit more flavor and seasoning for it to be a Louisiana restaurant but not bad.I enjoyed the red beans and rice ?, the corn ? bread ?, the gumbo, the jambalaya, and the fried alligator ? bites. These were all flavored nicely and seasoned well. I would definitely order this again.I ordered the bourbon Brownie. I didn't like this one. The bourbon sauce was just like eating sugar. The Brownie had a lot of sugar throughout it. The ice cream ? was hood though.Parking: Open parking.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, there is wheelchair access.“
“I was hesitant of coming in because the place was empty. I am glad I took a chance on this place because it was worth it!I had buffalo wings and a salad, and my partner had a burger and fries. Everything was delicious. The service was amazing too.?Will definitely be coming back.“
“Love this spot! Hadn't been in years with COVID and the recent renovations, but let me tell you...IT'S STILL BANGING!!! Food on POINT, staff on POINT, and the place is looking good from the reno! I had the BBQ plate with Mac and cheese, cabbage, and hush puppies; it was delicious! I had enough BBQ left to bring to work for lunch! This a Durham GEM that deserves our continued support!“
“This is my go to for fast food. I've only had two bad experiences. Ordered the chicken biscuit to be made fresh i was given a cold sandwich instead. Order my usual chicken wings and the wings were blood bruised so badly. Other than that everything is always fresh & good. I would say don't over season the fries and Bo Rounds and listen to your customers when they ask for freshly made food. Other than that it would have been 5 stars for me“
“I was very impressed with the speed and friendliness of the crew here at this restaurant. I often don’t eat at Bojangles because the service has been questionable at other locations, but I was very impressed with Store. I was in and out of the drive-through in less than one minute for breakfast.“
“Pretty empty on a Sunday evening, but kind of slow getting our food. Food was hot enjoyable, waitress was very nice and thorough with her service. Would be all 5s except for the length of time it took to get our food and I didn't like the fact that the dining room was empty and they set us on top of each other as a few people came in instead of spreading us out a little bit. 3 different tables 3 different wait staff, all beside one another like side by side. Felt like they were in our conversation they were so close with it being not crowded. Other than that very good“
