“We went as party of 15-17 we had to wait until 8 were present to be seated. Then once seated we weren’t all at the table together which was awkward when there was a room next to us to accommodate everyone. We ordered l
bottomless mimosas and after the fourth pour they weren’t tasting the same. Sorta like just orange juice. I had the fried catfish and grits with fried green tomatoes. Grit had red beans on top of them, didn’t care for that much. Catfish was delicious. Fried green tomatoes were good as well except the bacon jam that was served with it. Not my preference. Overall brunch with the family was great. Food wasn’t over priced. I’ll definitely go back and try other menu items DHD maybe a signature mimosa.“

“Let me tell you chef ??!!!!! My daughter was there about 2 weeks ago for a college tour. She came home telling us about Vittles at the Park. She is a picky eater and she talked about was the Cajun Catfish. Here we are 2 wks latter, with other family members and we all were thoroughly pleased with those at the front counter to everything we ate. I had the flounder combo with 2 sides (collards and candied yams). I opened up my dinner and I know I wasn’t going to finish it all because there were 3 nice size pieces of fish. I started eating before you know it all was gone. That’s how good the food was. When we’re back in town we will definitely be back & we have more family members accompanying us as well.“

The mgr who shares my birth sign of virgo brought me a tasty dessert to celebrate and was very social and accepting even after a table of 7 walked in at 8:00pm. (Thank you) We had never been to any of the locations before and we decided to try this tonight. Everyone left extremely pleased with their selections all the way down to the ice tea and the virgin Bloody Mary. We all agreed we would be returning just not on weekend where it is 1 1/2 hr wait. 😳 Glad to have flying biscuit in the neighborhood. Once seated NOT.1 person came.to.our table to greet us, give water,etc. We waited over 10 mins and STILL no service. We got up and exited. We will never come back to this establishment and will NOT recommend either. Disappointed.“

“had been a few years since I had gone to Rise. didn't realize that the entire franchise had changed..now, very few donuts and a horrible and impersonal way of ordering. the apple fritter tastes like it was baked yesterday or at the very least 5 hours ago. even Dunkin donuts might be better and that's not saying much. RISE used to have the best donuts. they were unique and tasted fresh. not so anymore. I wouldn't return. I find it weird to order on a computer and pick up your food from a box with a door on it and then they deem to suggest you tip them for....for what? making the food that they already get paid to make? it's not like they're making waitress wages. I guess they're more known now for their biscuits, but either way...I wouldn't return based solely on the ordering experience.“
