“Recently had a upsetting experience at my local cracker barrel. Ordered impossible sausage from the menu,after paying for the order I was informed that they didn't have impossible sausage, so they just put regular sausage on the plate. Unexceptable......I ordered impossible sausage for a reason. What if I had an allergy. Then I had to wait for the manager to get the situation corrected ?. I have always enjoyed the food from this restaurant...but I really was made to feel like I was bothering them for not just taking the regular sausage ?. I plan on talking to management again about advertising something they don't offer.“
“While on a road trip with the family, we decided we needed a "sit down" meal.After using the Google, we rolled the dice and took a chance on The Copper Pot.We are so glad we did.The staff was lovely, the atmosphere welcoming despite being busy, and the food satisfied the soul. I brought along 3 kids and they were just as welcome as my wife and I.The catfish was great, and the fried steak was so soft and tender I didn't need a knife.The sides really shined, as the pintos were perfect and the collards you could damn near write home about.The whole experience was so nice, that we made it a point to stop by again on the way back.I think it deserves a mention that in this day and age, I fed a family of 5 here for less then $60 bucks. We didn't go cheap either, we had fun with the menu.If you're in the area, and looking for a sit down meal that leaves you with a smile, then please give this place a try.“
