“Pros - food was delivered to the table quickly, staff were friendly and engaging, burger and hotdog were good, and order of fries is large enough to share. Slaw was fresh and made in house and even the onions appeared freshly diced. Suggestions for improvement - Ordering system at the entrance creates a gridlock as folks are entering, exiting and attempting to get drink refills, Carolina style hotdogs and burgers DO NOT include beans in the chili. ketchup and mustard on the tables would be nice. We would not have had any ketchup if we had not ordered fries. Chicken and dumpling soup was flavorful and seasoned well but, southern style dumplings are generally not thick and clumpy balls of dough. Roll them out and slice them thin and you will have a hit. We will return - I want to try the squatch burger.“

“We've enjoyed every product we've had here and particularly like the codfish sandwich and the pot roast sandwich (which is not visible on the drive-thru screens but is available if you ask for it. I ordered the Jerk Chicken with sides of yams and cabbage and it was Great! The girl at the counter, I think her name is Tenn, was very friendly with a nice smile helped me decide. Without doubt I am going back and will be telling friends! Next time I think I am going to get the smoked ribs. Maybe plan on takeout because not much space inside to sit but for me that's what I wanted anyway. It looks like they may be planning for an outside sitting area. “We Had A Party Of 10. We Called Ahead For The Call Ahead Seating. Our Time Was For 4:50. We Arrived In Time. We Had A Few Running Behind About 15 Minutes. We Had Reese/Reece as our server tonight. She Was Very Understanding With The Delay. She Took An Appetizer Order & Brought Us Our Beverages. At That Point The Rest Of The Party Had Arrived. We came for the espresso martini flights that did not disappoint. Our favorites were the first and last one (sorry forgot the name LOL). The interior of this restaurant had a delightful ambiance, attention to décor, flavorful menu, beautifully presented dishes, and attentive staff. “A DELICIOUS hidden gem! Went for lunch around 1pm, and even though it was empty, we were greeted immediately, and the waitress was super friendly and efficient. This diner is a grocery store as well and had a few drink items as well as household goods to purchase. As expected, the food was amazing! We ordered a Philly double patty cheeseburger, crispy chicken sandwich, and a double chili dog. The fries were the best. Warm and crispy and never took a bite from a soggy fry. It does give a back in the day vibe, but when I tell you these spots are always the best, they truly are. We will definitely be back and try other things from their menu. It's definitely a great lunch spot. They have parking right in the front, I can see there being limited spaces during rush hour, but nothing bad that should deter you from coming.“
