“Pick up order of the beef clay pot. Though it was good, it definitely is not a good to-go option and it is TOO EXPENSIVE for what you get at $70. Clay pot filling, a small container of rice and 4 wraps (which do not travel well) By the time I got home, the bread was hard and to get the gooey bread topping on the clay pot was very difficult. It did not feed 2 people, we had to make extra rice to make it go farther. I gave it a high score bc the flavors were really good.“

“First, very large outdoor and indoor seating available. Over 50 or so brews on tap, as well as wine and liquor options. I had the steak burger with jalapeño slaw, which was ok. Burger was thin but tasty. Slaw wasn't any slaw I've ever seen, kinda dry. Overall, it's a better place to get a brew than food, in my opinion. Would definitely go back.“

“My husband and I ate here on our lunch break. We didn't have to wait for a table. Once we sat down we were immediately served!! We've ate there before and have never had a bad experience. The food comes out hot and cooked to perfection!! If you want a good home cooked southern meal then stop by!“

“The food here is decent. I've only had a couple things off the menu, but what I had was ok. But the reason for this review is not for the food, but for the service! The lady at the front is AMAZING!!! she is always in good spirits, always patient, always kind. She adds to that place, I always feel better no matter how my day is going after encountering her. she gets a 10/10.“

“The vibe here is amazing! I love a double entendre so walking in to see a sign that says “meat here” with a giant arrow instantly gives me the giggles! The multicolored decor and cool artwork made it hard to do anything but keep smiling. As soon as we’re seated our waitress says “I love your earring and all your jewlery” and I was smitten. I took my jacket off right as she was brining our food. “I love your tattoos” she says and I’m falling in love with this place. The cheesin steak sandwich is smothered in cheese, the wings are crispy, our appetizers came out fast and hot, and the atmosphere was great. I was having such a good time I didn’t even mind the watered down, chunkless blu cheese. You won’t either I promise! My husband and friends notified the waitress it was my 29th birthday to which she replied “29 would have never guessed your 29!” and I’m a little shocked. The thing is it was 13th 29th birthday so I reply “ and how old did you think I was?” I’m expecting a 35 or 36…. She says “24!” I laughed so much and said “I’m actually 42” and it was her turn to be shocked. She actually insisted I pull out my ID and that’s when I knew this lunch date was a Flirtatious Fork 5 star “Marry Me” good! ❤️ the food, the vibe, the service, the drinks (get the emerald godness, it’s amazing!) 💔 having to leave and knowing there isn’t a groovy beast near me! If im ever in Gastonia again I’ll go back!“

“The cupcakes are delicious but Ayana should not be running that store alone and definitely needs some training on how to work in a restaurant. 5+1=6 I hope she sees this review too. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL EXPERIENCE. I ordered online they didn’t have one of my cupcakes she said she called I said I was sorry I didn’t get a call. Then proceeded to tell me I ordered seven cupcakes when I looked at the receipt there was five cupcakes and one extra adding up to six total cupcakes. She argued with me about the amount of cupcakes I ordered.“

“This soul food restaurant is awesome I enjoyed my meal I ate everything on my plate and it is so clean, the table the legs on the table the chairs, the shiny floors, the counter top by the drink machine mirror shine. I like to go to resturants and the food is good and the place is clean. “Rai Lay is a fusion of Asian hibachi with a beautiful atmosphere. The food is average and the wait staff and kitchen take a while to come but the food is cooked fresh. The one issue i saw while leaving is the food inspection score from the city of Charlotte was only a 90.“

“There's mold on the baseboards in the rear party seating area and the place is generally not clean at all. Dust all over the place. The food is pretty decent but alot of the dishes with Alfred sauce are way too dry. The soup is always super good though!“

“I came in for a late lunch around 2:30pm and service was great! They took my order right away and the food was out in about 10 minutes.
I ordered the chicken kababs with baba ganoush and yellow rice. The chicken was tender, juicy, and had a great sear. The baba ganoush was served with some toasted pita.
The serving size is very generous! I can usually eat a lot, but still had some left on my plate after.“

“This place is fantastic! Went there last night for a networking meeting and was thoroughly impressed. The food, decor, and the live band were so great! “We’ve celebrated New Year’s Eve at Saigon Palace for several years. The staff is always accommodating ( we added 4 extra people at the last minute), they were so friendly bringing up an extra table & chairs. The food was delicious and we’ll probably be at SP again to celebrate birthdays and New Year’s Eve. Thanks so much to all the wonderful people from servers and kitchen staff.“

“Excellent service. Dolce did an amazing job going over the menu and explaining their unlimited options. I came in for a salad and left with a cauliflower crust pizza because I informed about their healthy options. The pizzas was delicious and nice to know the low calories. (100) There is plenty of space both inside and outside and a nice place to eat in the Berewick community.“

“Hey Y’all! That’s a good pie!
Just got to enjoy the hey y’all pie from pies & sides for the first time with my wife. It tastes so nostalgic. Would definitely buy and enjoy this pie again.
Side note:
Did this guy really buy a Deep South tomato pie that clearly has pimento cheese in the ingredients and then have the audacity to say that it was greasy…. I look forward to trying the Deep South tomato pie.“
