My other half and I have visited this restaurant multiple times, first for drinks, then an appetizer, and finally for a full dine-in experience. While the staff and atmosphere consistently deliver a 10/10, the food, unfortunately, rates a disappointing 2/10.

My husband and I dined at Persimmons last night for our anniversary. My husband went safe with the ribeye and I have the stuffed mahi. His ribeye was cold so we let the server know and she took it back. The manager brought it back out and it was slightly warmer. After waiting 10-15 minutes for them to do this you would think it would have either been a fresh steak or definitely better than Luke-warm. Persimmons | Waterfront Restaurant is a fantastic seafood spot right on the water. The food was delicious, with the Unicorn Fish plate being the best meal in an entire life. Other popular meals include the tequila salmon, fried fish sampler, fish tacos, chicken sandwich, and wings. The outdoor seating area was perfect, with a breathtakingly beautiful waterfront patio overlooking the marina. The atmosphere was relaxing and laid back, and the view cannot be beat. The service was superb; the staff was friendly, professional, and top notch. The business dinner was a huge success, and guests did not have to wait to be seated. This is a mandatory spot for every visit, and diners will be dreaming about the food for years to come.
