“I've passed this place many times but never stopped, it was either too early or too late. My buddy larry said they only serve hotdogs, hamburgers and beer, so I asked how was the food and he said he'd never eatin there or been in there, that kinda made me scratch my head and look at him kinda funny. Whenever I make it that way, I'm gonna stop in for some vittles and check em out, even pick up a menu for my buddy larry..”

“We stopped here one hot July evening and were pleasantly surprised!! We are all guilty of getting wrapped up in reviews and forget about how we used to find great places and good food by accident all the time. The AC was cold and the beer even colder. The crabcake sandwich on the specials menu was fresh, homemade and over the top good! Don’t miss the fresh cucumber salad, It’s to die for. We had a wonderful Bartender that went way beyond typical service. The boat broke down as we were leaving there and she tried relentlessly to find someone to give us a ride to the far side of the lake and pick up our truck and trailer. A fantastic staff, great food and a wonderful overall experience.”

“What a hidden gem that we stumbled upon! We will be back over and over again! First time was amazing so we drove 45 minutes today to see if it was a fluke or just that good! Incredible is all I can say. Needless to say we’ll be back. The shrimp appetizer is so good. And to date my favorite blacken ahi tuna bowl. Not to mention a wicked espresso martini❤️. “I have read some negative comments that are unwarranted. As many times as I have eaten at Delights, I have always enjoyed the food. My absolute favorite is the salmon lunch special only $13 soup or salad and choice of side what a great deal. My family absolutely loves Delights!”

“I’ve been visiting The Nook for years, and while the service is just as good as it’s ever been, it feels like the heart just isn’t in the food anymore.
My fiancé had their pecan waffle and bacon - asked for bacon extra crispy. Loved the waffle, but the bacon was still floppy. I had bacon, grits, and hashbrowns. The bacon was thick, floppy and hard to chew. Grits were really salty, and I didn’t finish them.
I usually come for “my usual”, which I didn’t get this time or for a waffle. I feel like no matter what you get on the menu, it should still hit, especially when they’re basic food items.
Overall, it’s a great little breakfast joint. It’s fast paced and very busy, so be prepared for that. The owner is very personable and friendly! She is definitely involved in her business. I recommend the Breakfast Nook and will definitely be back again!”

“Very disappointed in the chicken salad on the croissant on our last visit I am not sure if they ran out of chicken, but there was more egg in it than chicken and no mayonnaise at all very dry. This was our second time there the first time we were there. The food was amazing and the pie was amazing too, but this time just disappointed in the chicken salad, which wasn’t really chicken salad. It was a chicken and egg on a croissant and very dry.”
