We shared two sandwiches -one w/ "dilly mayo" & cucumber & turkey & muenster (so good!), the other with ham, swiss & horseradish (also a fave!), pasta salad, and an amazing bacon, cheddar, & jalapeno scone! Can't wait to go back!”

“OMG. If you haven’t eaten here you absolutely have to!!! The owners are sooooo amazingly sweet and the food is to die for. You won’t find anything else around that compares I assure you. The portions are huge and prices are great as well!”

“To me, the mark of a great BBQ joint is their brisket ... and ... well ... Smithfields does not have brisket. But, what they lack in fully embracing the full spectrum of BBQ, they make up with their pulled pork. Tender, juicy and bursting with that Carolina tang! Loved it!!! But of course you have to lean into that vinegar side of BBQ ... and for me I am full tilt.

And ... the Brunswick Stew was def worth the taste. Heavy in pork ...light in veggies ... but hey, what's wrong with that - right?”

“I've been dining at both restaurants for years and enjoyed myself ,the food , and the staff! The food and sides at Morehead have a better flavor, taste better ,and the portions are much bigger. I ve notice that recently on my last couple times that the sides are much better at both restaurants. The mash potatoes in Morehead are so delicious. I wish that was the same case at the emerald isle restaurant. The Cole slaw is the best that I have taste recently. I swear if the food was as good as the sides have been lately I wouldn't eat anywhere else. SNAPPPERZ KEEP IT UP!”
