“Two of us were in town working long days over the weekend. We arrived at closing and were told only dessert was left. The owner saw our sad faces and invited us in for pizza, salad, and dessert. It was the best pizza we have ever had, the friendliest staff, and fabulous carrot cake. We can’t wait to try everything else on the menu! Best dining experience!”

“I am a longtime customer of Hadley’s. I have been eating there for over 40 years. After the restaurant was sold and closed for a period of time, I really missed the food there. When it reopened, I initially did not return but in the last few months, I have returned found the food is great, much as it always was. They have three waitresses who are awesome. These ladies work together and when food comes out either one of these ladies will get your food and bring it to you. They know how to work together. They often have to bus tables and even have to wash dishes because Hadley’s seems to have trouble keeping a dishwasher. But they do an awesome job waiting tables. The food is still very good with chicken and dumplings my favorite. Chicken tenders, pintos, slaw, country style steak are all very good. Hot dogs and hamburgers are great and fries are hot and crisp. Great cornbread too. I visit at least once a week and the food is great and service is consistently great.”

“We always stop at Red’s on our way home from ASU if the store is open. This spring did not disappoint, and an employee showed me a hibiscus that wasn’t in flower while I was there but said the blooms were beautiful—like a sunset. I live on the coast and enjoy the sunset over the water in summertime, so I had to get it! I’m thrilled with my purchase (as always)! I didn’t get the employee’s name but I wish I could thank her!”

“Amazing Lobster Roll! Very flavorful and a ton of meat on the sandwich. Great value for the money on all plates on the menu. The shrimp plate is so fresh, just like you get from waterfront restaurants at the beach. The staff and owners are very friendly and make you feel like family.”

“I ordered from the North wilkesboro location. I had a call in order, my order was ready when I arrived. The cashier was super friendly. I ordered a 10" Cauliflower gluten free pizza with BBQ sauce, extra pineapples and Jalepenos. When I tell you it is probably one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. I couldn't just stop at 1 or 2 slices. The crust was crunchy and the cheese was browned just perfectly. The best combination I could have ordered.”

“It doesn't look like too much, but oh my was the food flavorful and good. My meal was only $10 and ended with left overs. The pot roast was great, much enjoyed the Mac and cheese and baked apples as well. Had a brownie sundae for dessert and the ice cream is legit a must try!

“The shrimp tacos are the best I have EVERRRRR had!!! And they will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. Also, on the weekends the upstairs bar is open and there is a jukebox and a pool table. And the bartender is 10/10. You walk up the steps outside to get to it.”

“OMG!!!! Hunnie when I tell you guy's me my mom and dad went there yesterday passing threw going home from our vacation from the mountains we stopped 🛑 there to get a bite to eat. The workers was so amazing! and nice I love good customer service and the place was so clean! our food was spectacular! I'm like this is the best subway I ever been to in my life they need to give the workers a nice raise because they did that hands down I can't remember there names when I bit in to my sub I wanted to cry 😂 because everything was so delish! Very satisfied🙂 I feel like I want to drive 4 hrs there that's how awesome it was I know it sounds crazy but I love subway I use to work at one and they make a sub the way I make mines with love they truly a Sub Artist.”

I love the cashier and how all the staff is friendly and ready to work. When people work hard it makes the place so much better they have team work like I've never seen before maybe if McDonald's did they would do better. “I think they’ve recently changed their corn tortillas but nonetheless, the food here is amazing. A very authentic experience from the Carne Asada tacos, the Ranchero and the Tortas! The red sauce? To die for! It’s HOT but with all the flavor needed. So it’s not hot just to burn your tongue, it’s GOOOOD.”
