“Delicious. Server was very kind. Our food came right out after we ordered. Recommend the French toast, eggs and gravy biscuit...I did not eat all of that by myself, but tasted it all and it was very tasty. Thank you for the wonderful experience. I would come here again.“
“After spending the morning in the hospital and unable to eat for 24+ hours with my wife, we were tired and WE WERE HUNGRY!!! We only stopped here because it was close to the hospital. Talk about a hidden diamond in the rough. We had to be very picky with what we ordered but the young lady at the register was patient and kind. After overhearing us making our long carefully chosen order the cook, a large man, a very large man, came to the front, introduced himself, and assured us that he would make our order to our liking... he certainly did keep his promise. The young man working out front (bussing I assume) even stepped up and got us salad dressing when he found out we needed some. I could go much more into detail about our pleasant experience but it's just a review, not literature. It's a rare occasion these days when you get such service and everyone treats you so well. What a great crew!!! We will certainly be back!Oh, I almost forgot... the food was pretty good and was priced right.“
“It's was actually quick and pleasant. 50/50 on clean, but their job is actually to get our food too us. It's our job as human being customers, to clean up after ourselves anytime, but actually more than ever right now with the way things are. God Bless America, and anyone that is trying.“
“Unlike most fast food franchises, this particular location has always put as much emphasis on food quality as customer service. The food is always great, and the staff, no matter how many new faces they may have employees over the years, the atmosphere is pleasant, friendly, and welcoming. I highly recommend that if traveling up or down I-81 between brisol and wytheville, that this is the Wendy's to stop at.. No matter how hungry you are, its worth pushing on a few more exits to have HOT DELICIOUS FRIES ALWAYS, AND NICE ARTISAN STYLE BURGERS AND MORE.. GREAT JOB GUYS, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!Parking: Parking is not difficult, and not limited, however you have to drive defensively due to the fact that the entrance and drive thru exit shate the same passageway..Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, however doesn't have a playground, but doesn't really need one..Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheel chair accessible.“
“I tend to choose this location over the 421 location. What the 421 restaurant doesn't have...the Nwilkesboro one does. Also, the employees are much more friendly.A note for McDonald's in general- I stopped eating their biscuits a few years ago. At the 421 location I received a biscuit so HARD it literally broke my tooth...a Molar to boot. (And my teeth are good and strong!)Instead of the biscuits I tried the McGriddle. They might not be for everyone, but if you like pancakes, sausage and or bacon, they might just become a favorite treat.Vegetarian options: They have more than just great salads, there's a variety of other vegan options.Kid-friendliness: They are exceptional in this area. I can say from past experiences McDonald's takes Kid-friendly atmospheres much more seriously than some OTHER restaurants that claim to be.I hate to name names, I had a few incidents at Chick-fil-A that I would have expected better. One incident, my 4 year old daughter got literally PUNCHED in the face by an older boy. When I tried to find his parents/ guardian...they were no where to be found. (The parent was outside...IN THEIR car...not even watching the child.)When I spoke to a Chick-fil-A employee...I was amazed at the response. The manager told me, "You're responsible for your own child. "Ah...yeah. That's obvious. Try telling that to the parent outside sleeping in the car. That manager was unbelievably rude and could have cared less. He was angry AT me because I expected him to help go retrieve the boy's parent. The reason for this long tale is McDonald's is top notch in this are. I even told a manager my story and they were as amazed as Iwas.Parking: It gets tight at peak times. Traffic can quickly spill into the busy intersection.“
“Lunch on Friday and very busy. The gentleman bussing tables pointed us to the last table available. Had the special to go - which was a scoop of homemade chicken salad (delish) served w/crackers, fruit cup (ok) and nice slice of very moist German chocolate cake. Also enjoyed in restaurant a footlong hotdog (very good chili & slaw) and cheeseburger along with fries and the best onion rings I have enjoyed in a long time. Fast and super friendly service. Definitely locals favorite. Reasonable prices. Looking forward to next visit.“
“Biscuit was good as usual had to wait roughly 7 minutes for it. I got a steak biscuit with tomato. Their biscuits are delicious! Service was fine this morning One complaint in general is the brightness on the sign in the mornings will blind you and then another is if you get a large drink the straws only barely stick out of the lid so it's very difficult to drink“
“Was in town and was looking for vegan options at a restaurant and came across Dooley's. I had their vegan chilli and a side of fries, and it was amazing. They have a "tree hugger" section on their menu for vegetarians and vegans. The customer service was A1!“
“Definitely one of my favorite restaurants. Food is always on point and service is top notch. Great family friendly atmosphere and super clean. You may have a wait to dine in or in the drive through but I promise it's worth it. I grew up visiting the North Carolina coast often and have had my share of great seafood and this locally owned restaurant in the foothills is just as good as any of the seafood places at the beach. I'm always pleased with anything I get time after time. I highly recommend their smothered chicken for anyone not wanting seafood but my favorite dish is the blackened grilled scallops with their famous Captains taters as my side. Both have always been excellent dining in and take out on many occasions.“
“Wow! My first experience with The Lost Wombat! A great little, friendly venue! It not only offers great food and superb service, but also warm, friendly, attentive service. Additionally, there entertainment opportunities! Pool and corn hole to name two!! I completely recommend this warm welcoming place!!“
