Pirates Deck Reviews
Not Professional At All and they changed me for hush puppies and I didn't order any didn't eat any. I will not eat there anymore.
Wasn't our 1st vist but was absolutely the most fun and entertaining! Our server was "Turtle" and she was too notch PHENOMENAL! Attention to detail, conversation, informed us if the Wednesday night specials because if what my boyfriend ordered tonight! THAT is a great server! Food, peel and eat hit shrimp where great (per my boyfriend) His wings were spicy like he liked them! My Calabash shrimp plate was FULL of shrimp and I loved the slaw!!
This place is a scam! Watch your bill! Charged me 86.00 on my receipt, got a returned ticket for $93.00.
Said it was for a 4% credit card fee. Credit card fee, when I questioned it, they threatened to call the police on me! Avoid this place like the plague!
The manager doesn't know how to deal with a customer questioning her authority. She tried to call 911 and they didn't answer for her. Must not be the first time. Awful management and leadership!

Pirates Deck is a popular spot to grab a drink and enjoy a meal. The menu offers a variety of options, including the Pirates Platter with flounder and shrimp, which comes with a good portion size but may have a few bones. The restaurant also serves appetizers like fried mozzarella cheese, mushrooms, and chicken fingers, which can be seasoned to perfection. Vegetarians will appreciate the nachos without meat. The atmosphere is lively, with good drink specials and a central location on the island. The dining room is large and very open, featuring several television monitors, pool tables, and a few games. There is an open bar at the rear of the building, and cornhole boards add to the fun. In the winter, the bar area is enclosed and heated for comfort. The staff is friendly and nice, providing great service. Customers have praised the seafood boil, Mama Sherry Shrimp, and crab legs, all of which are highly recommended. The wings are cooked crispy, and the grits are noted as very good. The restaurant is wheelchair-friendly, with picnic tables outside under a covered area. The music can be loud, making it difficult to converse, but many enjoy the vibrant environment. Pirates Deck has become a go-to seafood restaurant for many, with its fresh and well-prepared seafood reminding visitors of the Calabash style.
