“Big fan! We have been meaning to stop by for a while. Today, we decided to do a pick up order. We were out and about and had a gift card to use. Plus, I was getting a little hangry. Everything was fantastic!—we ordered throughout the menu and I was happy with all of it. The shrimp was perfect in the NC shrimp (I’m super weird about ordering shrimp from restaurants-it’s usually overcooked). ***The white chocolate crème brûlée was heaven!“

“Want to share what a fantastic time I had at Pinehurst last Thursday. The course and staff were out of this world!! I would like to pass on a special thank you to two employees Brendan Atherton and Jordan Allen , who asked me to join them while playing #1 . “A great place to stay. The recently renovated rooms are comfortable, quiet, and well-appointed. The in-room Nespresso and welcome basket of local goods were great touches. Breakfast in the Carolina Dining Room and dinner downstairs at Villaggio are wonderful ways to start and end the day. My only complaint - Magnolia room keys don’t work at the resort fitness center, so you can’t access that amenity until they can get that fixed.“

“Just had a great dinner celebrating our 39th anniversary. Great food, great service! Shout out to Charles our server ..service done right. And thank you to the hostess (name?). for getting us the table we wanted. It’s a pleasure to dine out when the food, wine and service all make you smile. Thank you.“

“It was billed to my buddy trip as the best dinner of the trip. I was told when I booked my group of 10 about private room cost ($300 that is semi private) ,cancellation policy, and the dress code but not about the limited menu. My group was disappointed. When I questioned the hostess, her response to me was, " Should I explain to you the logistics?" I thought this was snarky and rude. Otherwise, everything was on point. I wish I knew, my group would have had no problem splitting up.“

“An old favorite of mine at an old classic, Pinehurst's original hotel! I have come here so many times throughout my life, and I highly recommend the amazing Shirley Temple's they serve here! You also get a nice helping of what I guess are kettle chips with each meal! Both indoor and outdoor seating are available.“

“I thought it was a rather unimpressive looking restaurant in the awesome Carolina hotel but I assumed that they would be renovating it when the lobby is done. We were there for an early dinner and my husband wanted a strip steak but it was not on the Ryder Cup lounge menu. And, the main dining room did not open until 6:00. Despite that, the server went to the dining room and was able to get the strip steak for my husband. I decided to just have the Caesar salad and a few bites of his meal. The wine was good, the Caesar salad was great, and the steak was a perfectly cooked medium and was very tender. The potatoes were also very good. The really went out of their way to accommodate us and we very much appreciated it.“

“The Carolina Dining Room is a very traditional style restaurant. The menu also reflects it in it's basic classics steaks, fish, and sandwiches. We started with bowls of corn chowder. It was very flavorful and not too salty. My ribeye was cooked perfectly. My wife had the shrimp tacos. It was good. I wish I had room for the bread pudding dessert but was just too much food. Excellent service. It was a fine meal experience.“

“This is a really nice place to meet friends for lunch. Soup and a sandwich, please! Never had a bad plate, the cook really cares about your meal. The croissants melt in your mouth. It feels like everything is responsibly homemade. The patio is like a garden, huge and surrounded by trees, not traffic. Inside, lots of 2 and 4-top tables that can be combined for larger groups. (No booths.) Easy and close parking. Plan to take something from the bakery section home, you won't be sorry you did.“

“You will not leave here hungry!! Large portions and huge burgers. One of the best Reubens you'll ever put in your mouth!! Great fries and onion rings also. Has daily plate specials from Country Style Steak, Hamburger Steak, Soups and many others that change daily and weekly. Been a customer for 38 years!. Kenny is a hoot!!“

“Ashten’s is always a favorite of mine and of course Valentine’s Day was another great experience. From the beautiful atmosphere and decor to the amazing service. Fresh, local ingredients and great selection of cocktails and wine. Highly recommend getting an appetizer, entree, and you certainly can’t skip dessert. Zarah, the pastry chef is a true magician. Overall 10/10 experience and I’ll surely be back.“

“We were impressed by the level of service we received. Sitting at the bar, we found the bartender to be attentive and personable . The food was wonderful! We ordered the Salmon over risotto and Gnocchi with sausage, both of which were flavorful and well-seasoned. The restaurant is small and quaint, with an atmosphere that might appeal more to an older generation. Nonetheless, I will definitely be back.“
