“We really enjoyed Aura! We ordered 3 drinks and the BBQ sliders and they were delicious!! The drinks were a bit too strong for us but still pretty good! And sliders tasted really good, just a little too fatty for us but overall we loved the ambiance and the service! The prices were a bit high but it's to be expected at a high end hotel on the rooftop! We also enjoyed some time at the pool which is heated year round and of course the view at night was beautiful! There are bathrooms located right by the entrance when you walk back into the hotel so we changed right after we had our food and drinks! Overall was a nice experience! You do have to keep in mind what area you want to sit at when you reserve. We wanted to sit on a loveseat closer to the edge but were told that you have to put that on the reservation! Now we know for next time!“

“On Friday 8/23, we came to The Crunkleton on a recommendation for my daughter’s birthday and we were NOT disappointed! From the moment we walked in the atmosphere and the staff were wonderful! We had Cole as our server and regardless of how busy it was that night, he made us feel like we were his only priority. He was very knowledgeable about your massive spirit selections and I mean massive! The food was fantastic and cooked to perfection. We got the Really Good Burger and let me tell you, we said medium and it was on point! It was very well seasoned which is rare when you go out to restaurants. Then to top off the night, my daughter got the beignets with the cold brew icing, WOW! I am a sweets person and these with that icing just WOW! Cole even put a candle on the rim of the dish because it was her birthday! So, you have our business any time we are in Charlotte! I just can’t say enough about our experience!!! You have a great place, amazing food, a wonderful spirits collection, and definitely not last or least a fantastic server in Cole!! The cocktail selection was big and fancy. Really good all of them. A bit pricey but definitely a recommended date night.

My only complaint is the membership, which only gets you access to the bar. Which is a great bar... But there's several other great bars without a membership that requires you put your credit card number, works as a yearly subscription that if you cancel, you lose the rest of the year.... Kinda predatory.

So since we're being predatory, I'm gonna complain about a lot of petty stuff as well.
-Some of the staff was dressed very casual. Not uniformly. Not what I expect from a club I'm paying a membership.
- bathrooms toilet was not flushed when I'm coming in. Pretty not membership worthy.
- water is tap water. And the one that taste bad. You can buy 24 water bottle pack with half of one membership.

What am I paying for?

Anyways. Besides those predatory practice, it is a great place with great food and great drinks. Just had to speak my mind“

“Let me tell you about the best server ever.
I lost my phone in Charlotte and and Uber driver that didn’t speak English found it walking down the road. Since he only spoke Spanish I went to the bar and Nohemi not only talked to him she negotiated the return of my phone. NOT ONLY THAT. She came out side in the 22 degree weather to help me translate with the guy!

“First time stopping by here with my wife for a date night. Food was amazing, vibes and service was great. Our server Alex was super friendly and knowledgeable. She recommended the hamachi (my favorite) and it was superb.
