This is one of 2 really good cafes at the museum of science in Raleigh. The museum is free and it is great having these cafes on site for lunch so you don't have to leave and interrupt your museum visit. The museum is so big that we took 2 days to visit and explore it so we ate at this cafe on our second day and the "Daily Planet" cafe on our first day. Reports of the death of Acro Cafe are greatly exaggerated. This place is NOT closed, as previously reported by others. It may have been a temporary event. I noticed their Sanitation Grade was prominently displayed, dated 12-18-18, with a near perfect 99.5 rating. This yummy hidden gem is the cafe inside the Museum of Natural Sciences on the live butterfly exhibit level. Not only is it very much open, it is very much good, and very much affordable. I had the Brie and bacon grilled cheese. It was a convenient meal while I was working at the museum. I thought the food is great, especially for a museum cafe. I would definitely recommend this place, and I'd get it again if I'm ever visiting the museum.
