Great food, great service. I wanna try brunch next time.
I've always had amazing times and meals at CC16, whether it's family brunch or date night or even private events in the restaurant.Everything about the restaurant feels homey and inviting from the decor to the service and the menu. It's a hard loss but I'm looking forward to following and supporting their future ventures...read full review
SERVICE/ATMOSPHERE:This place was lovely. All the staff were so sweet and helpful. Definitely a gem in downtown, great for a date or an intimate catch up with an old friend.FOOD:We started with the pimento cheese, local jam, and fig tostadas, which were INCREDIBLE!! Capital Club 16, a beloved restaurant in downtown Raleigh, is known for its inviting atmosphere and excellent service. The homey decor and friendly staff make it a great spot for various occasions, from family brunches to date nights and private events. The menu offers a range of delicious dishes, with standouts including the pimento cheese, local jam, and fig tostadas, as well as the burger with hand-cut fries. The roasted Carolina tomato soup and club 16 salad are also popular choices. While the salad was not as fresh during one visit, the restaurant promptly offered a replacement. The atmosphere is perfect for a casual drink after work. Despite its closure, supporters look forward to following the team's future ventures, including their food truck.
