My first time trying hibachi in the glenwood area of Raleigh. I can say I was highly disappointed. The service was good even though it was a busy evening. I was by myself and wanted to enjoy a good dinner. I believe the chef was inexperienced and didn’t fully give us the teppanyaki experience. The rice and shrimp tasted burnt, I was practically given the scraps off the grill as my neighbor that sat next to me asked what was this about. While service can sometimes be slow or absentminded, the restaurant remains clean and enjoyable. Located in a mall currently under construction, parking is a bit challenging, and seating near mall traffic may not always be ideal. Prices are reasonable, providing good value for the quality of food and service. Many guests plan to return when shopping at the mall.
