Ordered Caldo de Res, que rico ! The waitress was super kind, and patient when we weren't sure what to order. My husband ordered quesadillas (super tasty too, I had a bite). Definitely found a great spot to take more family and friends. Bien auténtico! This is a Salvadoran restaurant, NOT Tex-Mex. Don't let Google tell you otherwise!I had the pupusas (with luscious pickled cabbage on the side) and a house salad that had delicious thin strips of chicken on it.I ordered horchata, but the drink I was served was NOT the rice beverage I'd expected. It was gritty and oddly flavored, so I don't recommend it.Lastly, language was a barrier for me. Everyone was so sweet and kind, however, so we muddled through. Food is ok. Ordered the pollo asado ( grilled chicken ) I did not like it, chicken tasted very smoky, and it was pretty dry. The orchata had a weird taste to it. Service was great so that’s why my 3 stars. Food was bad.
