I absolutely love Playa Bowls and the NC State atmosphere. I'm not a college student, but myself and my daughter (and her friends) frequent this location often. The bowls are ALWAYS fresh and ready to eat. The ingredients are top notch. The manager jumps in and helps with prep all the time and everyone is so pleasant. And I love that you receive points and discounts on bowls. One of my favorite spots in Raleigh!!!
We were excited to try Playa Bowls as we love a good açaí bowl. There were 4 of us and we each got a different flavor bowl. They were all fresh and tasty. Even though they did not close for an hour, all of the chairs were up on the tables, but that didn’t discourage us from taking them down & dining in. Delicious bowls with other great options. The bowls are very large and filling. The server accidentally spilled my bowl, but it got fixed. It’s also super overstimulating in there with all the blenders and loud rock music. I would come back again though.
