The food was wonderful, as soon as you walk in the smell leads you right to their counter it's not a sit down place the area go during the day. The food is on point. The ribs and wings collard Mac and cheese and yams. You won't go Disclaimer everyone has preferences when it comes to greens Mac and cheese and yams but I am picky the Mac was a wow for me the yams wonderful the greens good but don't compare them to your mama's if she is a good cook. 10 stars for me.
Food was delicious, except for the cornbread
It is a standup kitchen line but they are pretty fast. Loved the food. Oxtails were magnificent. So was the catfish. Greens and cabbage sisezwere delicious

Raleigh Soul Kitchen serves soul food done with love and incredible flavor. The fried chicken is crispy and juicy, the collard greens are slow-cooked perfection, and the cornbread is sweet and moist. The jerk chicken plate with cabbage and yams is scrumptious, and the turkey wings are tender and flavorful. The Mac & cheese is surprisingly tasty, and the sweet potato pie is heavenly. The sweet potato poundcake muffins are also recommended. The food is great, definitely worth the money and worth the trip, with generous portions so no one will leave hungry. The vibe is warm and welcoming, and the service is outstanding, with grace, kindness, and professionalism even near closing time. Fair prices for this much food and quality. For authentic Southern soul food in Raleigh, this is where to go.
