“We recently were there for our 53rd Anniversary dinner. We had fabulous food and our waiter PJ was awesome. So when our niece's birthday needed a celebratory lunch, hands down we all voted for Seasons 52. As luck would have it, PJ was our waiter, and he did not disappoint. So attentive. And everyone's meal was fantastic!“

“The food here is exceptional, particularly the filet (perfectly cooked), the sea bass (how they got fish to taste like butter cream cake is beyond me), the potatoes au gratin, and the apple tart. The service was attentive, friendly. Two things make this really less than what I would expect at this price point: the ambience is meh. We were at a Bankhead booth facing a room where a party was happening, and we watched people go in and out the entire time. A man in the party kept eyeing us with a frown, and shutting the door. It was almost comic. Where else were we supposed to look? The other thing is one of balance...everything felt so swift. Our reservation was at 6:30, and we had wine, salad, entree and dessert, and were out the door by 7:25. For $240, having a more elegant environment with a bit of time to linger and savor would have been ideal. Still, the food and service were exceptional!“

“Made a reservation in advance and had to wait 20 minutes past the scheduled time for the table to open. The BLT salad was a mess of things thrown together without any style or flair. The bread pudding was hard and unappetizing. Our waitress Daisy was great and very attentive. There was nothing special about the dining area that made me feel I was in a great place for a date night. This was noticeable as compared to other Firebirds restaurants I have been to.“

“Absolutely an outstanding experience! The Peddler went out of their way to create a wonderful rehearsal dinner event. From Sarah's planning to Emily's coordinating to Sarah's waitressing to Ernie's grilling - everything was superb - especially the delicious meal. “Mel was awesome! She had a great personality and served our party with a fun, energetic vide. We enjoyed the food, service, and the atmosphere. The strawberry pecan salad was great. The ribs were tender and juicy, the salmon was cooked just right and the steak was cooked to perfection. Thanks again Mel! We appreciate a job well done!“

“The food came out exceptionally fast. If you place an order for pick up you may as well be there within 15 minutes. One of the manager’s (Cody) had our food at our car before we could notify curbside pick up. Most importantly the food was hot and succulent. We will most certainly be back!“

“We were visiting our family in Raleigh and we tried it for the first time, one of the best dinners we’ve ever had out. Food, service, and atmosphere were all amazing. We will definitely be trying to reserve another dinner here next time we are in town!“

“We celebrated my birthday at The Oak last night and had an amazing experience. Our server, John, was fantastic, and the Wright Flight cocktail is a must if you love gin. We loved the bone marrow starter, my husband’s ribeye was incredibly tender, and the confit duck tasted like fall on a plate. The Espresso Martini Affogato and peanut butter pie were perfect desserts. They even sent us home with mini banana breads! The Oak is officially my new favorite spot in Raleigh.“
