The Anchor Reviews
Great bar great atmosphere and staff! Defiantly a staple of any night out in dtr
Great atmosphere and friendly bartenders! I was in there Friday night and 2 Comedians from the Raleigh Improv were there after their show, Jason Collings and Brent Morin! Great time Friday night at Anchor Bar and they had a DJ! 🍺 🎶
Walked in and sat at the bar, bartender was friendly. Drinks were reasonably-priced, and the atmosphere was nice to be in.

The Anchor is a great bar that’s really fun to hang out in, especially after having dinner at one of the surrounding places to eat. The pizza is great, and the Wings are like being back in Buffalo. Amazing cocktails are served in a very Maritime theme, which is very much lost in Raleigh. The drinks are poured with precision. The staff is great, extremely friendly, and knows the menu like the back of their hand. The owner is a great guy who has assembled a top-tier team. Each bartender masters their craft with grace, delivering both skillful cocktails and impeccable service. The vibes are super fun, and the DJ is the greatest. The Anchor captures the charm of a small-town tavern while nestled in the heart of Raleigh. It is one of the last longest standing bars on Fayetteville Street. The cozy atmosphere and conversations transport you elsewhere. Whether a lone wanderer seeking respite or part of a close-knit group, the Anchor promises a night of camaraderie and unexpected adventure. It is more than a bar; it is a destination for those who crave authenticity and connection.
