“We found Taco Loco looking for lunch after leaving the NC Zoo. We were very pleased with it. It's on a vibrant and fun revitalized main street in old town Asheboro and the restaurant was clean, modern, and pleasant. The service was top-notch, and the menu and food very good. The corn tortillas are made in-house, and are tender and tasty. I got the spicy pork tacos. Very good. I'd go back if if I'm ever in the area again.“

“Always a good experience at Leo's. The team is attentive, pleasant, and knowledgeable about Whiskey/Bourbon.A few things to know:- Menu is seasonal so expect to see new, fresh cocktail options- No hats after 5pm, a nod to the past- Get your drink to-go, and sit outside, or in the park- The space is intimate, so expect to be cozy with your neighborPics: Classic Old Fashioned, Blackberry Smash Sage, Prickly Pear, Tennessee Tea, and Knob creek on the rock“
“The place is terrific, with terrific owners and customers. The new partner in the store has some great ideas about making the place even better. I really think you'll want to visit here when searching for a nice glass of wine and chatting with people who become instant friends.“

“My fiancé and I ordered the breakfast flatbread and breakfast quesadillas with sausage and are blown away. The gravy as a base takes this dish to another level. The staff made sure we had every type of sauce we needed and the restaurant offers a variety of seating in a modern coffeehouse. And, the coffee is delicious!!“

“Great food! Great service! The servers were attentive, patient, helpful and responsive. My sole concern is with the bar seating. It's very uncomfortable, especially for older patrons. In addition, the chairs are very heavy and difficult to maneuver. But that is the only criticism I have. I really enjoy this restaurant and I hope it thrives in Asheboro.“

“Overall good experience. We came a bit late but they still let us order small bites. They had a great variety of beers spanning from $0.35 - $0.85 per ounce. They also have a rotation or cocktails on tap and a prosecco. Seating is 1st come 1st served. Only issue, the mac was very soupy, it probably needed a smidge longer in the oven but we took it to go and jazzed it up at home later.“

“Super busy on a Saturday night with a half hour wait that I spent wandering the streets of Asheboro but the hostess was very nice about it. I arrived a few minutes after the text message that my table was ready.Still leaning hard into my keto diet, I went with the chicken wings. They were apparently cooked fresh as they took about 15 minutes to arrive, still very hot from the fryer and swimming in sauce. The "Buffalo" was actually still quite spicy so the small pot of blue cheese dressing was helpful as I demolished the wings. Meaty and cooked properly, my only complaint is the bath of sauce.Friendly service, noisy and fun atmosphere, it was a good evening.Parking: Street parking and a municipal lot nearby.“

“I really enjoyed seeing friends after so long. Freddie's is a private bar so things are a little different. I have gotten very used to not being around smoking in bars and restaurants but it is allowed here. Fortunately, there were very few smokers inside so it wasn't too bad. Most people went to the patio to smoke.“
