“I recently moved back to NC and went to my favorite place to get pizza: Soprano’s. They have the best pizza and wings. The chocolate chip Cannoli is amazing. I learned that the owner developed a terminal disease a few years ago and can no longer manage the restaurant. He was so proud of this place. It’s good that his family is trying to carry everything on. I’ll be back again for a slice of pepperoni!! And, Tracey, is amazing!!“

“I had the Steak Special Sub with onion rings. I was full half way through my meal and planning to take the rest home but it was just so tasty I couldn't stop. It just doesn't get any better. Highly recommend for quality of food and pricing. Very nice atmosphere, and clean. Great friendly service.“

“So glad we decided to eat here during our stay in Asheboro. The young woman who took our order was helpful, kind and welcoming. The food was EXCELLENT! I had the cheesesteak special with fries. The fries had a really good seasoning on them and the cheesesteak was very good. My husband had the large calzone- it was HUGE and also very good. Highly recommend! They had a cute little section to sit in beside the ordering stand. It was a little hidden- really glad we found that because we had a toddler who needed a highchair.“

“Zekos pizza in Asheboro, NC, is another hidden gem. The service was good. I ordered my food togo and I received it hot and ready. I ordered a large ham and pepperoni stromboli and a chicken taco salad. The stromboli was huge, you can tell by the picture. It was loaded with ham and pepperoni, and the cheese pull was crazy. Also, the chicken taco salad was loaded, and it was big as well. I spent about $25 in total, and I must say it was worth every penny. Overall, my food was amazing, and I would definitely recommend this place.“

“This is odd for going to an Italian restaurant but I had their wings special the day my family was there. Only sauce available was hot. Not a hot sauce kind of guy. Had the wings plain and they were done to perfection. Crispy outside, tender inside. Their classic Italian dishes are some of the best I've had. Give this place a shot. You won't be sorry.“
