This is a smaller, boutique-type, winery that specialises in wines in the Spanish and Portuguese style. The wines, especially the reds, are excellent and a real standout from the wines of the region. The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly and can talk at length about his wines. The view from the outside patio is really beautiful and the winery is also very dog friendly despite having several (very friendly) cats inside and out. This is in response to Crystal S. from a regular patron to Menarick Vineyard. You are not by any means a wine connoisseur. I was sitting there when you came in and when you left. You stated to the owner that you were a connoisseur of wines. Yet you did a tasting out of a plastic cup, which was barely touched. Great experience! I enjoyed speaking with the owner Rick. I was going there to get one bottle of something I wanted to try. I ended up tasting all of the wines and went home with several bottles not just one. Since I don't live near there I'm just going to have them delivered. The wines taste is exactly the new taste I was looking for, thank you :).Update: Still and enjoyable place to visit. No one has been disappointed in the wine I’ve given to them from this winery.
