La Cava Restaurant | Italian is located in a lovely old church converted to a restaurant, with lots of ambiance. The limited menu offers good food, with amazing pasta. The service is phenomenal, friendly, and helpful. The restaurant is a cozy and familiar neighborhood spot with a family run, local trattoria vibe. Favorite dishes include the capellini with vegetables, the lamb chops, and beautiful desserts like a wonderfully light tiramisu. The bolognese was perfectly textured and flavored. The quality of the food and ambience is exceptional. It is a Studio City gem. Reservations are highly recommended, and there is lots of parking in the back.
