Someone recommended the barbecue plate with sides and the chicken fingers with sides. As we open the plates, the fries were soggy like they’ve been sitting in a pan all day same as the okra did not look fresh at all. As we opened the corn it’s disgusting once again like it’s been sitting in a pan all day dried out crusty dark brown edges and was rolled into aluminum foil to serve on our plates. Best barbque,slaw , hush puppies, fried fish okra, …these are a few of my favorite things. Lots of other good things including banana pudding.
2nd visit to this location and unfortunately not as good as the 1st. Ordered BBQ plate with fries and beans. Although not a fan of the vinagar based pork it has a nice spice to it and was moist. Side of fries on the other hand(gross) Soggy and saturated and they tasted like fish which would indicate the same oil was used. 1 out of 2 not bad so far but won't order the fries in the future.
