“Was passing by with my family on a weekend trip. Saw the blue hound and decided to stop. Smelled pretty good outside and was a cool atmosphere for a bbq restaurant. Everyone there was nice and the bbq and the ribs were amazing!! We tried almost all the sauces and they were all great. I would recommend stopping here.”

“This place was INCREDIBLE!! I am still mouth watering over the medium rare steak with jumbo lump crab meat! The bourbon and scotch selection are amazing and our server Rob Kelley was amazing!! You can’t leave without trying the oyster Rockefeller ! We met some amazing people that made the experience just perfect and we were there enjoying conversation, shared desserts and birthday celebrations with others ! We will drive back to highland just to eat here !”

“We've been to Highlands many times, but this was the first time (Dec 19, 2023) we've dined at Resorante Paoletti. It will certainly not be the last time. In fact, we will make it a point to dine with them every time we visit Highlands! Not only was the food outstanding, the atmosphere was warm and fun. We met Gina and other family members... and, quite honestly, we felt like part of the family before the evening was over! The staff were all working very hard, but they were extremely attentive and took care of us beautifully from the moment we arrived and throughout our dinner. It was obvious that they enjoyed what they were doing and wanted to go above and beyond. It is rare to find this kind of enthusiasm and positive attitude in restaurants these days. This is a "family run" restaurant and the dedication and pride of the Paoletti's exudes through every aspect of the business. It is rich in tradition and that results in a wonderful dining experience. What about the food? I could spend a lot of time going through every item we tried that night, but let me just say that everything was superb. My only regret is that in one visit you can't have a bit of everything on the menu! I have no doubt that you'll find whatever you order to be wonderful. Ristorante Paoletti is special and you must go when you're in Highlands (if you are able to get a reservation!). No... I'm not related to the Paoletti's - but I sure feel like part of the family and look forward to going there again!”

“We visited a few months ago and we were instantly met with a welcoming staff. The cafe is very affordable and cozy. We had a blast seeing all of the kitties and they were all precious. You can tell the owners are extremely passionate about animal care. We love having this place in our small town area, it is VERY needed! Even if you can’t adopt a cat, its still a great place to grab some snacks and hang out with some kitties for an hour. We definitely recommend and will be going back as soon as possible!”

“We went to have dinner at the Rusty Bike but they stopped accepting customers at 1:30 due to Mother’s Day. So we ended up here, the hubby had the Philly cheesesteak w/tater tots & I had the turkey club w/onion rings. I didn’t care for the onion rings because they were so greasy, so I’d requested a replacement for their pasta salad which was great. We also ordered 6 wings as our app, which were great. Overall good experience.”

“Delicious, hot and flavorful! I had the bbq pulled pork nachos (minus jalepenos) and my husband had the pulled pork plate with baked beans and cole slaw. It was all crave worthy! We each had a giant slice of yummy homemade cheesecake that we had to get a to go box for because the slices were so huge. Plus there were many tempting flavors to choose from. Overall, this BBQ place has some VERY IMPRESSIVE food, great service and atmosphere too. We will definitely be back! There is more we want to try!”

“we took eight of our friends from The over the hill hiking group to eat there on July 24. We ate on the back deck which was very pleasant and undercover. The brisket was great all the sides were great. Everybody was happy with their food. It was even better than I remember from my previous visit. Wright before close we even got to see a bear. Try to get into the dumpster, which was quite entertaining.. we will be back.”

“We came across The Roadhouse coming back from Walmart and I'm so glad my GPS decided to take me on a different route that afternoon. My daughters and I stopped in and had an amazing lunch. Then, later that night we went back to celebrate NYE with them. What a memorable time we had .The staff is awesome, the band great and the locals ...... amazing!! I live in Florida but my hope is to come back again some day soon .”
