We come here on our way up to North Carolina. It is the best hidden gem all the food is incredible.My fiancé used to live nearby and introduced us. The best thing on the menu is the chicken Caesar salad wow! Also enjoyed the bourbon chocolate cake.
Always a wonderful meal at Fortify! And the servers are so nice and enjoyable to talk to. My daughter enjoyed the venison w/carrots and my other daughter had the roasted chicken and really liked it! It was their first time there and I was excited to give them that experience. I had the fried green tomatoes, which I think were not completely ripe as they were kind of hard. The pizza was delicious and came out fast and hot. Server was wonderful and attentive. We tried the pear cider and that was great. We also had the creamsicle cake and that was very good. Cute place. Will return when we are back in Clayton.
