Kobe Japanese House of Steak, NC offers a mixed dining experience. The hibachi chef provides entertainment, while the service is attentive. However, the quality of the Kobe steak and shrimp dinner has been inconsistent, and the overall experience may not justify the high prices. The sushi rolls are reported to be fresh and enjoyable. The fried rice didn't have the flavor it needed, with very few eggs and little butter used, and the seasoning was also lacking. Parking can be IMPOSSIBLE, with the parking lot being super small. A drink from the bar was AMAZING. Some found the chef very boring & dull, lacking excitement or entertainment, acting as he was over his job, which really sucked. The food was expected from a Japanese steakhouse, nothing special. While they did correct a sushi order, there was some push back from the manager and server.
