“i paid about $12 for a plate and they were out of corn bread. She told me she would bring it when it was done. I checked with her abot 15 minutes later, still was not ready. When I got ready to leave I asked that I could get it to go. Still was not ready. So you pay for something and don't get it.“
“Had lunch there today. Omelette with potatoes and delicious fresh baked bread. Probably the best omelette I’ve ever had. My friend ordered the chicken salad sandwich with sweet potato fries. It so so generous with the chicken salad AND the fries that couldn’t finish. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Prices are very reasonable. Have already planned a trip back. Yes u will love this place!“
“I was on a road trip and needed some food! I always enjoy your food and while you were my first thought I thought I would eat something different for dinner. I opted for a burger near by and after waiting 10 minutes for food was totally disappointed (slow service and subpar food). I walked out of the burger joint and drove on over to your Southern Pines location. I walked in, placed my order and had my hot, freshly prepared food in less than three minutes. Thanks for making my day!“
“Ashten's is a wonderful place for dinner. The service was excellent. The food is unique, flavorful, and well prepared. We started with the black eye pea soup and ostrich meatballs. Both were fantastic. For the main entrees, I had the special sea bass and my wife the cauliflower bowl. I was actually quite amaze with the flavor and how filling the bowl was. I'm not normally a 'salad' person but the bowl was impressive.“
