“We LOVE Vesuvios. We drive from lexington just to eat there. It's our favorite Italian restaurant we have been to yet. They always have friendly, attentive service who take care of whatever you need! The food is just beyond amazing. If you can make a garlic knot that good, the whole menu is bound to be amazing! “The food is really good. The restaurant was clean. The waitress was friendly. The problem was management. A family near me had finished their meal. The gentleman had scooted his chair out to get up. The chair leg broke and the gentleman fell on the floor. The only people to check on him were the other patrons. No one came to see if he was hurt or the see if he needed another chair...NOTHING!! The waitress came by to give them their bill and asked how he was and that was it. I was upset for the gentleman and the family. They handled the situation with grace. If a family is in the customer service industry, take care of your customers.“

“The food was absolutely delicious! The ambience is amazing and welcoming. Our server, Mercedes, was so helpful, patient and upbeat. She was very attentive. Our food came out hot and fast. Our only complaint was the lack of available silverware. Somehow they ran out of silverware. Many guests had that complaint during our visit. Sounds like management needs to buy less pictures for the walls and more silverware. Also please beware that it is also a $2.99 charge for each game that you play on the kiosk while waiting for your food. It is not posted on the kiosk or before starting the game. It just shows up on your bill. Otherwise, I recommend this restaurant location. The staff was nice and helpful throughout.“

“Great salad bar. Probably the best in town. Good pizza.
Poor service. While waiting in the long line, the cashier gets into a LONG drawn out conversation with the person at the front of the line. Most of it not having to do with ordering food. Then just allows this person at the front of the line to just stand there and mess with her cash in her hand trying to decide how she wants to pay.
When we finally reach the front of the line the cashier asks if we would like to leave a tip. WHAT?!? The cashier greatly extends our wait, she is doing NOTHING to speed up the process and then asks for a tip? If I stand to order, there is NO tip. I get my food myself, I get my drinks myself. My re-fills myself and you want a tip!!! Open up a second register so I can order and sit down instead of listening to the cashier and employee talk nonsense to each other and I will think about it.“

“Tonight was our first visit here and the food was fantastic and the atmosphere was inviting. Having the owner come and introduce himself and talk to us says a lot about him and the restaurant. Will definitely be regulars. We’ve been looking for good Italian food in the area and we have now found it.“
