“Tonight was a very special night. And honestly, it doesn’t matter if it’s a special night or not. The owner of the restaurant always make sure that we’re satisfied with the quality of service and food. I was in the restaurant business before moving onto my career. For almost 15 years. It helped me get through school and pay for a lot. So I have understanding of European cuisine fusion and other types of Cuisines that typically people find appealing. This restaurant is phenomenal. The food is always on point. I’ve been dining here takeout and dine in for two years plus. If there’s ever a discrepancy with my order? The owner always makes things right. Phenomenal service, phenomenal food, and until the day I die, this restaurant will have my business. If you’re on vacation or you’re here playing golf? Hell, if you’re a person that just moved here and looking for a great spot to call home? I highly recommend this restaurant. If I was only allowed to give them five out of five stars? They would have a solid five stars and I’ll be looking for a way to create another star. They are that good. Thank you so much for quality food and excellent service. I can't think of her name right now, and I didn't get a picture of her....but you won't be able to miss her! The owners were super cool! They have been to football games here where I live. Lol I'm all the way on the other side of the state. Small world! Enjoyable visit to this spot.”

“Got a macchiato and a cappuccino. 2 small coffees cost as much as coffee from Starbucks (and yeah those are a con). It pains me to say that I would probably rather the Starbucks coffee as these were a tad too sour to ignore ESPECIALLY at that price. Regardless, it’s a local joint and I wish them the best. “How they keep return customers, I don't know. We keep trying to have a good experience but have been disappointed almost every time. Parking lot looks like an area trash point, service is slow, food is mediocre (which is OK for a beach bar, if it is consistently good, warm and tasty). We need good restaurants in Sunset Beach, this one has a looong way to go. The food trucks in the park across the street offer a better dining experience, which is sad.”

“The resturant to enjoy a sit down excellent meal in Sunset Beach NC. I had the grouper special and a spicy Bloody Mary, it was a delicious experience, I was surprised and thrilled to eat this meal, the sweet potato fries were excellent. when the next couple sat and asked what’s good, I couldn’t stop myself for yelling out the groupper is fresh and to die for. The service was excellent and they will be opening the down stair with live music for the summer. This is going to a daily spot to visit daily. Thank you to the cook and Christy.”

“This Subway location has improved immensely with employees Pandora and Russell at the helm. Owner Charles Durham is to be commended for hiring the right personnel to take this Subway from mediocre to Five Star! We visit regularly and these employees are kind and courteous always getting our orders ready promptly. Keep up the good work!”

“Such a great place they have such great service the food was good and I love to order my pups a happy meal of 4 piece chicken nuggets and they love it would come here again for my big back self.”

“Our group only played the front 9. Clubhouse is outdated. I will say that every green on the front 9 was surprisingly in fantastic shape. There was a little difficulty navigating to the second hole tee box as there was no signs telling people where to go. Cart paths are in rough shape, but the course is general is very nice. You can see they are working on improving a few holes in some areas.”

“Met with friends for dinner at Mako’s. Glad we made a reservation because it was a busy Thursday night! We started with the Bayou butter shrimp and steamed littleneck clams and they were amazing! Although tempted by the specials, three of us ordered the scallops over risotto and one ordered ribeye. They were all fantastic! For dessert we ordered the blueberry cheesecake, pistachio cream brûlée and a fruit cobbler. Our server was attentive and funny! The owners stopped by to check in on us! It was such a great night! One of the best meals we’ve ever had! We are already making plans to go back next week!”

“As a NY'er I am always sceptical when someone tells me that "this place has great pizza"
But i will say, Cutty's is really that good, the crust is thin and has a great fold (always important).
The sauce was rich and a perfect amount of cheese.
I felt like is was in brooklyn having a slice.

“We stopped here after our dolphin watching cruise because it was close by and we were starving! Oh my goodness! I’m so glad we stopped. I had the BEST crab cake I have ever had. That’s saying a lot because I’m from Delaware and grew up on seafood. I’m very picky about crab cakes and don’t usually order them. But the description said Maryland style crab cakes so I took a chance. Best choice ever! They were amazing! My husband had the clam strips that was the special of the day and they were also amazing. So many he couldn’t eat them all. We shared a bowl of seafood bisque that was also delicious. Our waitress even split it into 2 bowls for us when we told her we were going to share. Food was served quickly and the staff was super friendly. I highly recommend stopping here!”
