Amazing toppings for the oysters. They also serve sausages for grilling and yummy shrimp salad. Lots if other unexpected seafood options. Great beer selection. What a treat to have the very freshest local oysters anytime of year! We LOVE this place and the terrific employees!! A+++.“

The owners Brian and Christy were so friendly and actively talking with everyone throughout the night.
It is super convenient between Hampstead and Surf City.

I went in and got my 2nd drink of the night, the first was at Gilligan's and the last was at Oasis.

This drink was ok, she actually made it light like I asked for which was nice.

I learned about this guy who couldn't stop gambling and he even asked me for my good luck, I helped him lose a few hundred dollars and got depressed and ended up having to leave.

At least trump was nice, highly recommend to get a picture with him. Not sure if he's still there. I know he's a busy guy doing something important I hope for America's sake.

I learned a lot about how bars work that night and if you need a place to come and meet trump this is your place, otherwise I recommend Gilligan's if your a Tesla fan or Oasis if you want good drinks and a better atmosphere without Holly Ridge biker pack taking up all the room.“

“Restaraunt across the street was hour and a half wait so we went in here. Definitely a dive bar with not much on the menu. Our server/bartender Lisa was super friendly and brought our little man some fries to keep him happy while we were figuring things out. Jalapeño poppers was what you'd expect from a dive bar, but cooked well. We all got burgers and they were pretty decent. Lisa can definitely mix up some drinks. Glad we stopped in and would love to come back without the kid to enjoy some live music“

“I love Tortugas. My friends and I go every weekend. The staff is fantastic. Daniel Blevins is the best! He is always looking out for me and my friends when we are there, never feel unsafe with him around. Chad and Ray are great too. Love seeing their faces walking up the stairs.“

“My husband and son and I went Saturday for dinner and as always, it was delicious. The crab dip always spot on and the best around. A special Thank You to Tanner our server, he was awesome and did such a wonderful job and made sure everything was spot on for us to have a relaxing and enjoyable dinner. Tanner you were awesome and your personality and how you deal with your customers was great, please keep that up. My heart went out to you and I felt bad after the table next to us ran you and spent $200 if not more and left you such a crap tip, that was so wrong. “Buddy's became our favorite place to stop in. We visited each day while we were there staying close by. So relaxing on the outside decks, enjoying the ocean breeze and sunshine. Walking down the steps to the oceanfront to take a stroll. We had snacks in the afternoon, dinner one night, and breakfast on the weekend. All were good and reasonably priced. We weren't rushed to get out after eating, so we kicked back to enjoy the awesome ocean view. The staff were professional and friendly each visit. We will definitely be back our next vacation!“
